In a recent incident at a convenience store in Omaha, Nebraska, surveillance footage captured a woman violently assaulting two other women.
During the attack, a young girl was seen crying and pleading with the attacker to stop.
The suspect, described as wearing a brown coat, entered the Mega Saver on 144th and Blondo Streets around 5 p.m. on February 16 with the young girl and asked for an iPhone car charger.
The chargers were reportedly located along the wall in the store.
KETV said the suspect was there for a while, after which a conflict arose over buying the charger. “I’ll pay for it, that’s cool, but if it doesn’t work in my car, can I return it?” she asked, according to the station.
There was a mix-up, and the female got upset, KETV said. “I feel like I’m being discriminated because y’all think I don’t know what y’all saying, and that pisses me off,” the female stated, according to the station.
KETV reported that the suspect began using profanity, causing distress to some customers, leading to a heated argument.
A young girl in pink with the suspect started crying during the altercation. Subsequently, the female suspect assaulted one of the women by striking her in the face multiple times.
According to the station, the suspect verbally abused another customer and threatened physical violence by asking, “Do you want to be hit as well?”
Following this, the suspect slapped the customer from behind as she tried to leave and then pushed her into a display. The victim fell to the floor as items scattered from the shelves.
The suspect proceeded to walk over to the young girl, took her hand, and seemed to be making their way towards the store exit.
However, they suddenly diverted their path towards the victim who had been knocked down earlier and launched another physical attack on her.
Amidst the little girl’s cries pleading for the suspect to cease their actions, they tried to stomp on the victim who had raised her foot in defense. Subsequently, the suspect exited the store with the little girl in tow.
Yet, the ordeal was far from over.
After putting the child in a car, the suspect returned to the store and targeted the woman already beaten on the floor. The woman cried out, “Oh no! She’s coming back!”
The suspect repeatedly asked, “What did you say?” while hitting, stomping, and throwing objects at the victim’s head before eventually departing for good.
According to KETV, individuals can anonymously report the identity of the suspect to Omaha Crime Stoppers by calling 402-444-STOP or submitting information online.
