Whistleblower Exposes H-1B Abuse At Texas Day Care Center

Sara Gonzales followed a lead to a Texas site alleged to be an H-1B farm disguised as a day care and autism therapy center, found the property nearly empty, and recorded a heated on-site confrontation after a whistleblower came forward with serious allegations about visa sales and underpaid workers. The report links a holdings company to dozens of H-1B petitions and Labor Condition Applications, includes a video embed of the investigation, and ends with plans to refer evidence to federal agencies for further review.

Gonzales visited the Allen Infant Care Center property, which her reporting says previously operated under the name Golden Acorn Academy. She walked the grounds and described a largely unused complex that gave the impression of a business that was not serving children on a daily basis. The presence of weeds and an uncared-for playground contrasted with the idea of an active day care or therapy center.

The investigation points to ownership by Golden Qi Holdings LLC and an alleged affiliation with a DFW autism behavioral therapy business named DFW ABA Center. Gonzales reported that the entities have sponsored “37 H-1Bs” and “they have filled out 55 Labor Condition Applications,” citing USCIS-related data in her review. Those claims raise questions about how workforce petitions line up with the on-the-ground reality at the property.

On site, Gonzales emphasized the odd nature of the job titles listed in government filings compared with the apparent business operations. “The thing that is so curious about this [case] when you go digging in the data and the LCAs is that you wouldn’t think that a day care center would need, you know, ‘market research analysts’ or ‘supply chain analysts,'” Gonzales remarked. “And yet, this company actually told the United States government that they needed foreign workers to fill those jobs,” she further alleged, stressing the mismatch between duties and filings.

A whistleblower approached Gonzales during her visit and provided startling background on how the operation allegedly ran. The source said the H-1B visa workers did not actually work at the site and insisted immigration officials “know all about his H-1B visas.” The whistleblower added that investigations have reportedly visited the owner several times over the past few years and explained “just how bad this one gets.”

That insider also claimed the owner treated visa sponsorship as a revenue stream, selling access and then paying far less than promised once workers arrived in the United States. According to the whistleblower, the arrangement functioned as a kind of foothold in a broader immigration scheme and left employees vulnerable to exploitation. Those are serious allegations that touch on wage, labor and immigration enforcement issues.

Gonzales confronted a man she identified as connected to the buildings and pressed him for answers, even as he asked to speak with lawyers. The encounter escalated as the man retreated to a distinctive metallic rose gold BMW with butterfly doors and tried to depart the scene. As he slammed the car door, Gonzales fired off a pointed question: “Hey, is your dad a member of the CCP?”

The man then briefly returned to the property and shouted back, ‘If you are not leave, I will call the police!’ Gonzales continued to press him and, as he sped away, she called back, “I’ll call the police on you for scamming my system!” The exchange underscored how fraught and combustible these confrontations can become when allegations meet a tangible owner presence.

Following the on-site work, Gonzales said her team still had many unanswered questions about the filings, the actual labor performed by the visa holders, and the gaps between paperwork and reality. She indicated they plan to package their findings and refer them to USCIS and the Department of Labor for formal review. The investigation leaves open a number of investigatory paths for federal agencies to pursue.
