President Trump recently ordered decisive airstrikes aimed at ISIS leaders in Somalia, marking a bold move in the ongoing fight against terrorism. This operation reflects a strong commitment to safeguarding U.S. interests and the broader goals of national security. The strikes emphasize the administration’s determination to dismantle terrorist networks that pose threats to America and its allies.
Carried out by U.S. Africa Command, the airstrikes targeted ISIS operatives believed to be hiding in caves. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth confirmed the success of the mission, noting that there were no civilian casualties. “Our initial assessment is that multiple operatives were killed in the airstrikes and no civilians were harmed,” Hegseth stated confidently.
“This action further degrades ISIS’s ability to plot and conduct terrorist attacks threatening U.S. citizens, our partners, and innocent civilians,” Hegseth added. The strikes send a clear message that the U.S. remains vigilant in eliminating threats. President Trump’s leadership in such operations underscores a commitment to robust national defense strategies.
Trump took the opportunity to contrast his approach with previous administrations. In a post on Truth Social, he criticized former President Biden for not acting swiftly enough in similar situations. He highlighted his decisive action, stating, “These killers, who we found hiding in caves, threatened the United States and our Allies.”
The president’s message was clear and unyielding: “The message to ISIS and all others who would attack Americans is that ‘WE WILL FIND YOU, AND WE WILL KILL YOU!’” This bold declaration underlines the administration’s unwavering stance against terrorism. The Associated Press reported further details about the escalating ISIS activities in Somalia.
Military officials warned of ISIS cells receiving guidance from leaders who relocated to northern Somalia. This includes tactics for kidnapping Westerners, evading drones, and employing new military strategies. The ISIS affiliate in Somalia, which split from al-Shabab in 2015, remains active in Puntland and the Galgala Mountains.
Led by Abdulkadir Mumin, the group has established training camps and hideouts. While its influence is limited compared to al-Shabab, ISIS in Somalia has been linked to several attacks in southern and central regions. Their operations are funded through extortion, smuggling, and illicit taxation in coastal areas.
Despite facing pressure from Somali security forces and U.S. airstrikes, ISIS continues to operate in remote and urban areas. The group seeks to expand its influence through ongoing recruitment and propaganda efforts. The recent U.S. airstrikes are a significant blow to their capabilities.
This operation is more than just a military maneuver; it signifies a proactive approach in the fight against terrorism. The administration’s actions demonstrate a commitment to taking the necessary steps to ensure the safety and security of American citizens. The world watches as the U.S. remains steadfast in its mission to combat global terrorism.

Now Trump should authorize air strikes at the Southern Border. Cruel? Yes, but so is an invasion by uninvited, unwanted, raping, murdering, human-trafficking, drug-running, welfare-sucking, 3rd world parasites. Enough is enough. Either GTFO or die.
Quinn, quite true! Today I went to my local bank to deposit a check and waited in line while one Hispanic woman with two men walked up to the teller and then the line stopped for nearly 15 minutes at which time I had enough and left, and while they had some debit thing going on which was obvious to me and others in line that they were illegals cashing in on some debit card with some glitch, obviously none of them working from the time of day and the time of month when welfare funds or checks are out! All young able bodied persons but to me the attitude and behavior of entitled parasites. Usually one person goes up with one transaction at a time but these jerks were doing some multiple persons and transactions at once, the teller had to walk away to see her manager for a bit too! These people have no respect or even good in them but get to walk all over our nation like they own it and step on us Americans!
These creeps all need to get out of America now!
