Ryobi Launches Limited Edition Fan And Blower For 30th Anniversary

  • Ryobi’s continued presence in the power tool market
  • Limited edition releases tied to a 30-year milestone
  • The 18V One+ Whisper Series fan and the 18V One+ blower
  • Availability through Home Depot and Ryobi product pages
  • Price, kit details, and the blacked-out anniversary look

Ryobi is leaning into its 30th anniversary with two familiar tools dressed up in a fresh limited-run finish. The latest special editions are the 18V One+ Whisper Series 7 ½-inch Fan and the 18V One+ Blower, and they follow the same playbook as earlier anniversary releases. The main draw here is simple: same useful tools, sharper look, and a little extra bragging rights for anyone who likes their gear with some personality.

That anniversary push has already shown up in other Ryobi products this year, including a ½-inch drill and a hand vacuum. Those earlier versions went with a blacked-out style that gave them a more premium feel without changing the core formula. Ryobi seems to know exactly what it’s doing here, because these editions are less about reinventing the tools and more about making a popular lineup feel special for a moment.

The fan and blower are both part of Ryobi’s 18V One+ system, which is a big reason they matter to so many users. People already invested in that battery platform can slot these tools into the mix without changing their whole setup, and that convenience is a huge part of Ryobi’s appeal. It keeps the brand planted in garages, backyards, sheds, and job sites where one battery ecosystem can do a lot of heavy lifting.

What makes these versions stand out is the timing. Ryobi has not publicly broken down how many of the anniversary units exist, which only adds to the sense that these are meant to feel scarce. Earlier 30th anniversary items reportedly showed up in very small numbers at Home Depot stores, so anyone hoping to grab one of these newer editions probably should not wait around and expect a second chance.

Right now, the limited edition fan and blower are listed on Ryobi’s website, but the buying path still points back to Home Depot. The product pages may show stock information for local stores and online availability, while the checkout prompt sends shoppers to Home Depot for the actual purchase. That makes Home Depot the main place to look if you want one new, even though resale listings could pop up elsewhere later.

Price-wise, the fan is listed at $99 and the blower at $149. Both are sold as kits, so you are getting a charger and a 4.0Ah battery along with the tool itself. That matters because these are not bare-tool novelty items, they are ready-to-run packages that fit squarely into the One+ ecosystem from day one.

Performance is the other part of the story, and there is no big surprise there. Ryobi says the special editions deliver the same power and function as the standard versions, so the difference is mostly in the finish and the anniversary branding. For buyers who care more about utility than flash, that may be all they need, but the blacked-out look gives the tools a clean edge that stands out in a sea of ordinary orange and green.

For a brand that has built a huge following on practical value, this kind of release makes a lot of sense. It gives longtime users a reason to keep an eye on new drops, and it gives collectors something a little more interesting than another standard tool box addition. If you have been waiting for an excuse to pick up a fan or a blower, these versions add just enough style to make the decision feel a bit more fun.
