Pentagon Prayer Smear Linked To Turkish, Russian Propaganda

The controversy started when a Pentagon prayer quoted lines people instantly recognized as the Pulp Fiction monologue, and mainstream outlets framed it as a Bible blunder. Glenn Beck dug into how that story spread and concluded the narrative didn’t emerge from honest reporting but from coordinated amplification online. His team traced the surge to foreign accounts and state media playing into social discord, then tied it to other viral stunts involving a doctored Trump image and a provocative Iranian post. The episode became, in his telling, less about theology and more about information warfare aimed at splitting Americans apart.

Last week the Defense Secretary offered a “CSAR 25:17” prayer for rescue crews that echoed the famous Ezekiel-style lines from a movie monologue, not the actual Bible verse. He made clear the words were “meant to reflect Ezekiel 25:17,” yet the narrative locked onto him as if he had claimed scripture as his source. That framing turned immediate ridicule into headlines, and the clip ballooned into a symbol of supposed ignorance.

Glenn Beck went searching for where this narrative originated, and what he found deeply disturbed him.

Beck brought in his executive producer to map the spread, and her findings pointed to an organized pattern. According to Rikki Ratliff-Fellman’s research, it’s “a Turkish psyop account and the Russian state media that are behind amplifying this noise about Pete Hegseth.” She also noted, “This whole thing went viral on X, and it appears to have started around a Turkish account and then became mainstream news reported by Variety, Independent, [and] other outlets.”

When you zoom out, the episode starts to look less like everyday bad reporting and more like deliberate ignition. Beck tied this to other viral content that same week, insisting the timing and the actors involved were not random. “We started the week with a viral post about Donald Trump not really being a Christian because, of course, he blasphemed Jesus,” he said, pointing to how one social media moment feeds into the next.

The Trump AI image that circulated showed him in robes, the kind of thing that invites mockery and fuel for outrage. Iran’s embassy then amplified an AI-generated clip of a Christ-like figure assaulting that image of Trump, and it spread like wildfire across platforms. Further, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian Trump’s post as the “desecration of Jesus, the prophet of peace and brotherhood.”

Those moves, Beck argues, are textbook information warfare: provoke, inflame, and watch domestic divisions deepen. “We are in a giant psyop right now,” he warns, drawing a line from foreign actors to the chaos on American timelines. He names the usual suspects—powers with an interest in weakening the U.S.—and reminds listeners these nations benefit when Americans are busy tearing each other apart.

Beck puts it bluntly because subtlety sells out the point: the tactic is to use anger and confusion as weapons. “Please, America, wake the F up. You’re not this stupid. Understand, your social media is nothing but a weapon of mass destruction,” he pleads, challenging people to stop reacting reflexively to whatever pops up. He warns, “Don’t believe anything on social media. Don’t jump to conclusions on anything. Please don’t get involved in tearing everyone apart.”

The practical takeaway is simple: treat viral outrage the way you treat a stranger knocking on your door at midnight—be skeptical and ask questions. Look for the origin, look for patterns, and refuse to be the amplifier of someone else’s agenda. The embedded segment above walks through the timeline and the players Beck’s team believes pushed the story into mainstream headlines.

Biggest problem is there are to many subjective decision making individuals within our society courtesy of our indoctrinating education system! Being objective apparently confuses them and makes their heads hurt! Also aids in them following the ideology of democrats!
