A bold transformation is underway at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), marking yet another instance of the deep state resisting much-needed reforms. Thanks to President Donald Trump’s vision for streamlined governance, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has taken decisive action to cut waste, restructure USAID, and bring accountability to an agency that has long operated without proper oversight.
However, standing in the way of progress is Judge Theodore Chuang, an Obama-appointed activist judge, who is attempting to sabotage these efforts. In a deeply partisan ruling, Chuang claimed that DOGE’s restructuring of USAID violated constitutional principles, using a flimsy legal argument about the Appointments Clause and Separation of Powers. His ruling conveniently aligns with the demands of entrenched bureaucrats and career USAID officials who fear losing their unchecked influence.
The lawsuit, filed by deep state operatives within USAID, aims to undermine the will of the American people by blocking President Trump’s agenda of eliminating bloated, ineffective programs. These bureaucrats argue that Elon Musk, who has worked with DOGE to bring innovation and efficiency to government operations, should not have influence over USAID without Senate confirmation—an obvious political roadblock designed to stall reforms.
Judge Chuang’s ruling is a textbook example of judicial overreach, a blatant attempt to protect the corrupt, globalist system that has allowed USAID to waste billions of taxpayer dollars on projects that often benefit foreign elites instead of Americans. The decision criticizes DOGE for shutting down USAID’s outdated programs without bowing to Congress—ignoring the fact that Trump’s administration has every right to cut government waste and redirect resources to benefit American interests.
Despite this legal roadblock, DOGE is not backing down. In a strategic move, the department has swiftly positioned key America First officials in leadership roles within USAID, ensuring that the agency remains aligned with President Trump’s vision.
According to an email obtained by the Associated Press, Trump appointee Pete Marocco informed State Department officials that he would take charge of foreign assistance, cutting off the deep state’s grip on USAID’s operations. Marocco, who previously held a leadership role at USAID, understands exactly how the agency has been exploited by globalists and is working to bring it under control.
On the same day of Judge Chuang’s ruling, Marocco announced a major personnel shake-up. Secretary of State Marco Rubio—a staunch supporter of America First foreign policy—is set to appoint Jeremy Lewin as USAID’s deputy administrator and chief operating officer. Lewin, a trusted Trump ally, will play a key role in dismantling the bureaucratic stronghold that has allowed USAID to function as an international slush fund.
Under Marocco’s leadership, the impact of these reforms has been immediate. USAID has cut 83% of its contracts, eliminating wasteful spending on unnecessary projects that have done little to benefit America. Instead of allowing USAID to operate as an unchecked international aid machine, these programs are being consolidated into the State Department, where they can be closely monitored and aligned with U.S. foreign policy priorities.
Of course, globalist critics are already panicking, claiming that these cuts will “undermine USAID’s mission”—which, in reality, has too often meant funneling billions to foreign governments, NGOs, and special interests with no accountability. The restructuring has sparked fierce resistance from the D.C. establishment, but America First conservatives are hailing it as a long-overdue effort to prioritize American taxpayers and eliminate government waste.
The left-wing media is doing its best to distort the facts, spinning the narrative that USAID’s restructuring is a disaster. In reality, this is a win for fiscal conservatism, efficiency, and national sovereignty. By reducing unnecessary foreign aid programs and bringing USAID under State Department control, President Trump’s team is ensuring that U.S. tax dollars are used strategically—not wasted on programs that serve the interests of foreign bureaucrats and wealthy NGOs.
Despite the mainstream media’s attempts to spin this as a crisis, the reality is that DOGE still retains control over USAID, and Trump’s America First agenda is moving forward. The left’s desperation is evident, as deep state actors scramble to weaponize the judiciary to block these changes. Judge Chuang’s ruling proves that the establishment will stop at nothing to keep its grip on power, even when it means obstructing the President’s efforts to clean up a corrupt system.
The American people have had enough of bloated bureaucracies, unaccountable agencies, and foreign aid spending that does nothing for our country. This USAID restructuring is just one part of a broader movement to return power to the people and dismantle the wasteful government apparatus that has flourished under previous administrations.
The legal battle over USAID’s future is far from over. The deep state is desperate to keep its power, but Trump’s team remains steadfast. The appointment of Jeremy Lewin and the leadership of Pete Marocco signal that USAID is undergoing a long-overdue transformation—one that will prioritize efficiency, accountability, and American interests above all else.
This fight is about more than just one agency—it’s about breaking the grip of unelected bureaucrats and ensuring that government serves the people, not the political elite. Despite judicial obstruction, the Trump administration’s bold reforms continue to reshape Washington—and USAID’s restructuring is just the beginning.
The deep state is panicking, the left is scrambling, and President Trump is winning. The future of USAID—and of America First governance—is on the line, and this is a fight Trump’s movement is prepared to win.

“The left’s desperation is evident, as deep state actors scramble to weaponize the judiciary;” ah yes up to their old tricks as usual!
But now the “Lesson of OLD” is applied; “Cut Off the head, and kill the snake!”
Now it’s “Hasta la vista, baby!”
These rouge judges should be removed if they were appointed and do not follow laws set in stone and if not appointed but voted in then they can be removed by recall or impeachment and in must be done sooner than later if OUR REPUBLIC is to prosper. Time to clean house on rouge judges ! ! ! ! ! !
The article said President Trump is winning, No the Amerian people are winning. As President Trump, Musk and DOGE dismantle the corrupt wasteful DC Swamp, we Americans win and they tear down the bureaucracy and save American taxpayer dollars.
It’s America First not the DC Swamp bureaucracy. MAGA.
