Renowned magician David Copperfield, born David Seth Kotkin, is currently embroiled in a storm of allegations concerning sexual misconduct and inappropriate behavior.
A total of 16 women have come forward, with more than half stating they were minors at the time of the alleged incidents.

Another woman recounted a similar ordeal involving herself and a friend who were both drugged by Copperfield before he engaged in sexual acts with them, rendering them unable to give consent.
Additionally, there are allegations of groping, with one woman asserting that Copperfield touched her breasts when she was only 15.
Shockingly, family members of this victim claim to have witnessed the magician’s inappropriate behavior during one of his live performances.
Despite these serious accusations, Copperfield has vehemently denied any wrongdoing through his legal team. He refutes all claims of acting inappropriately or engaging in unlawful activities with minors.
Copperfield’s representatives have defended him adamantly, emphasizing that the recent allegations contradict his character entirely.
They assert that he has a history of advocating for women’s safety against powerful predators and condemn the false accusations as baseless attempts to tarnish his reputation.
The representative highlights that many of these accusations have resurfaced from the past but remain as unfounded now as they were then.
Furthermore, the magician’s involvement in unsealed court documents related to Jeffrey Epstein has drawn attention.
While mentioned in these documents, it is crucial to note that this does not imply any criminal conduct on Copperfield’s part.
An affidavit reveals an interaction where he mentioned rumors about girls being paid to recruit others for Epstein but claimed ignorance about any illicit activities associated with it.
Copperfield’s legal team maintains that their client had no knowledge or suspicions regarding Epstein’s crimes and did not perceive any reason to report the rumors based on his conversation with one of Epstein’s victims.
They stress that like many others worldwide, Copperfield learned about Epstein’s atrocities through media coverage rather than personal involvement.
In response to these allegations and insinuations linked to Epstein’s case, Copperfield is considering his options alongside his legal advisors to address what he perceives as false and defamatory claims against him.
