According to a recent report from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), 84 percent of the recent cases of measles in Chicago have been linked to illegal aliens from Venezuela.
This alarming statistic has raised concerns among American-loving Patriots who vote Republican and are passionate about protecting our borders and national security.
The outbreak, which began in February of this year, has affected over 30 individuals in the Windy City. The majority of those infected were either unvaccinated or had only received one dose of the measles vaccine.
The CDC report states that the strain found in these cases matches the one currently circulating in Venezuela, where there has been a significant increase in measles cases due to low vaccination rates.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, expressed his concern over this recent outbreak. “This is a perfect example of how diseases can easily enter our country through our porous borders,” he stated. “It’s important for all individuals entering our country to be properly screened and vaccinated.”
While many on the political left have been quick to blame anti-vaccine movements for the outbreak, evidence shows that it is largely due to illegal immigration from countries with poor vaccination rates.
And as we’ve seen time and time again, these immigrants are not always properly screened or vaccinated before entering our country.
In fact, just last month, Border Patrol agents reported catching several individuals from Venezuela attempting to enter the United States illegally.
These individuals had no proof of vaccination and were immediately quarantined due to concerns about potential diseases they may be carrying.
Unfortunately, this incident is not an isolated case. Over the past year, there have been numerous reports of illegal aliens bringing contagious diseases into our country.
From tuberculosis to chickenpox, these individuals pose a serious threat to public health.
And yet, the left continues to advocate for open borders and lax immigration policies. They claim that it is our moral obligation to allow anyone and everyone into our country, regardless of their health status. But at what cost?
It’s not just about protecting ourselves, but also about protecting the vulnerable members of our society who cannot receive vaccinations due to medical reasons.
These individuals rely on herd immunity, which is only effective if a significant portion of the population is vaccinated.
The fact that 84 percent of the measles cases in Chicago can be directly traced back to illegal aliens from Venezuela should serve as a wake-up call for all Americans.
We must demand stricter border control and more rigorous screening processes for those entering our country.
