Jon Jones is ready to step up for a wild hypothetical challenge against a gorilla, joining a group of 100 men. This scenario became a hot topic on social media, sparking debates on whether such a group could overpower a silverback gorilla with just their bare hands. A silverback weighs around 400 pounds and can lift up to 1,800 pounds, possessing the strength of about 10 men and a grizzly bear’s bite force of 1,300 PSI.

Jones, the UFC heavyweight champ, is intrigued by this hypothetical debate. Speaking to TMZ, he expressed his enthusiasm for joining the team, remarking on how amusing the topic is. “That’s a good pick, I’d love to be one of the 100,” he said, adding that people take the idea way too seriously. He humorously questioned, “What did the gorilla do to us? What did he do?”

Despite the prevailing opinion on social media that a gorilla would dominate such a match, Jones is optimistic about the human side’s prospects. He confidently stated, “100 men definitely beats up a gorilla,” highlighting human intelligence and our history of conquering various challenges. He believes that, fundamentally, animals shouldn’t pose a significant threat to humans.

Jones acknowledges that this wouldn’t be a solo mission, but he’s ready to lead the charge. He envisions assembling a team with NFL and UFC heavyweights to tackle the challenge, thinking this hypothetical team would manage the task swiftly. He eagerly volunteered, “Let me lead the pack, let me lead the pack,” expressing his desire to be part of the first wave.

The former heavyweight champion finds the notion of this debate both funny and intriguing. He chuckled at the idea of being part of such a unique event, pondering, “What a topic, huh?” The concept of confronting a gorilla with 99 other men is undeniably an unusual and entertaining proposition.

This debate also caught the attention of other notable figures. Mike Tyson, for instance, shared his thoughts, suggesting that the gorilla might find itself “in so much trouble” in this hypothetical battle. The idea has captured the imagination of many, with opinions varying widely on the outcome.

Jon Jones’s enthusiasm for the challenge showcases his adventurous spirit. He brings a mix of confidence and humor to the debate, making it an entertaining discussion. While the idea remains purely hypothetical, it highlights the playful nature of debates that capture public interest.

The debate serves as a reminder of the human tendency to explore the limits of possibility, even in the realm of the absurd.
