A shocking car crash involving a stolen vehicle was recorded on video in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Sunday night, resulting in injuries to two individuals.

While covering a local shooting, a TMJ4 news crew captured the entire incident on camera.

In the footage, reporter Kaylee Staral and a bystander can be seen conversing on a sidewalk when a loud noise is heard off-camera.

They then witness the driver of the stolen silver sedan losing control of the car and colliding with a parked minivan after narrowly avoiding an SUV just seconds earlier.

Following the crash, the driver quickly flees from the scene to evade capture, while a young male passenger emerges from the vehicle and calls out for assistance.

Onlookers rush to aid the injured youth and remove him from the wreckage.

Milwaukee police reported that a 16-year-old male passenger was transported to the hospital for his injuries and subsequently arrested.

Additionally, TMJ4 disclosed that a 57-year-old man was present in the mini-van during the accident. Similar to the youth, he was also taken to the hospital for treatment.

Milwaukee mayor Cavalier Johnson expressed his astonishment after viewing the crash video shared by TMJ4.

“The passenger in that video that you just showed me couldn’t even get up, he couldn’t even move,” Johnson said. He tried to get out of the car, and he collapsed.”

“You don’t want that to be your kid or a kid you care about. Let’s have these conversations, and let’s put a stop to this.”

Mayor Johnson informed TMJ4 that he is collaborating with the Milwaukee Police Department and local community organizations to ensure the safety of city streets for all residents.

Additionally, TMJ4 has reported that authorities are continuing their search for the driver of the stolen vehicle, and any potential charges will be directed to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
