Shedeur Sanders recently shared in a podcast interview that he had major phone troubles just before the draft because his number got leaked. He joked about the challenges of potentially missing important calls, saying, “My number got leaked, again, guys. I don’t know how I’m gonna get my call for the draft.” He also mentioned that he had silenced all unknown callers, which made him worry about missing the big draft day call.

Sanders, the quarterback for the Colorado Buffaloes, has had quite the journey with his phone situation. He expressed his frustration, stating, “I gotta get a new phone because it’s just getting ridiculous. It’s getting borderline sick.” This was already his fifth phone of the year, and he insisted he wasn’t sharing his number with anyone who might leak it. In a video, he even showed how many unknown calls he had received.

His phone number has been leaked at least twice this year, which adds to the chaos of preparing for the draft. On top of that, he receives numerous calls from scouts with unfamiliar numbers, which he often doesn’t answer. Some of the teams that reached out include the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Rams, Tennessee Titans, Miami Dolphins, and New York Giants.

Sanders is a top prospect in the upcoming draft, with experts predicting he could be picked as high as No. 2 or fall to the second round. However, the true level of interest from teams remains uncertain just before the draft kicks off. He had an impressive final season with the Colorado Buffaloes, racking up 4,134 passing yards and 37 touchdown passes, which earned him the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year honor.

As draft day approaches, there’s a lot of buzz around where Sanders will land. His standout performance in college has made him a sought-after player, but the leaked phone numbers have added a layer of stress to an already intense situation. The quarterback’s ability to handle pressure on and off the field is being tested as he navigates this challenging time.

Despite the phone issues, Sanders remains focused on his football career. He’s known for his strong work ethic and leadership skills, qualities that have helped him excel on the field. As he looks forward to joining the NFL, these traits will undoubtedly play a crucial role in his success.

While Sanders deals with these unforeseen challenges, the anticipation surrounding his draft prospects continues to grow. His journey to the NFL is closely watched by fans and analysts alike, eager to see how he will perform at the professional level. The coming days will be pivotal for Sanders as he transitions from college football star to NFL rookie.

For now, Sanders is keeping his head down and staying focused on what he can control. The draft is a significant milestone, and he is determined to make the most of the opportunity. With his skills and determination, he is poised to make a significant impact in the league.

As the draft unfolds, Sanders’ story serves as a reminder of the unpredictable nature of professional sports. His experiences highlight the challenges athletes face, both on and off the field, as they pursue their dreams. Sanders’ ability to navigate these obstacles will shape his future in the NFL.
