Surveillance footage captured a late-night confrontation at an Ohio driveway in which a knife-wielding man threatened a homeowner, twice saying “I’ll kill you in the name of Allah” before fleeing and later being arrested. Deputies charged 23-year-old Anthony Tyrone Jessie Long with aggravated menacing and aggravated trespassing after neighbors and the victims provided video evidence. The case unfolded quickly, with a separate traffic stop ending in detention and matching evidence tying the suspect to the scene.

Homeowners called deputies just before 1:30 a.m. after noticing someone moving around their property and knocking on the front door. A woman told dispatchers the man had a knife and was making threats aimed at her husband before turning his attention toward the couple’s daughter. Fear and urgency are clear in the account, as the family expected the daughter to step out and run inside immediately.

Footage shows the man kneeling and bowing his head on the driveway before the father approaches to confront him. The father asks, ‘Hey bud, you knocking on the door?’ and the situation escalates when the suspect advances and repeats a death threat. The explicit wording of the threat was captured on camera twice, leaving the family shaken and prompting a swift call for help.

As the father retreats to the house he shouts for the daughter to leave, and she manages to drive away from the scene. The suspect got into a car and fled, according to the surveillance and the family’s reports. Deputies who arrived were shown the video, which clearly depicted the knife and the verbal threats, forming the basis for the investigation.

Shortly after, law enforcement near Clearcreek responded to a traffic complaint involving a driver allegedly following and attempting to ram another vehicle. The caller led officers to a Clearcreek Police station where the driver, later identified as Long, was detained. Officers noted that the detained person matched the description provided by the Franklin Township family.

Deputies returned to the residence with the detained driver and viewed the surveillance again, comparing details from the video to what was recovered. The knife shown in the footage was found in Long’s possession, according to the reports. That physical match linked the traffic stop and the earlier driveway incident in a concrete way for investigators.

Long was arrested and transported to the Warren County Jail, where records show he remained in custody days after the incident. Bond information indicates a $1,500 cash-only hold related to the Clearcreek traffic incident and a separate $75,000 bond tied to the threats and trespassing in Franklin Township. Legal proceedings were scheduled to move forward with a court date set for April 23.

The family who called deputies described feeling overwhelmed by the sudden threat and grateful their daughter escaped unharmed. They told investigators they feared immediate harm, especially when the suspect chased after their daughter in the driveway. That fear drove both the emergency call and the rapid effort to preserve video evidence for police.

Witness video played a central role in the case, offering investigators a clear timeline and apparent motive for the arrests. Law enforcement relied on the recordings the victims provided at the scene to confirm the events and the identity of the suspect. That visual record helped connect the home confrontation to the subsequent traffic stop where Long was detained.

Charges of aggravated menacing and aggravated trespassing were filed based on the threatening behavior and the defendant’s presence on private property with a weapon. Those charges reflect the seriousness of making explicit threats while armed near a residence. Prosecutors and law enforcement characterized the evidence as sufficient to hold the suspect pending further court action.

Neighbors and officials offered statements to investigators, and law enforcement continued to process evidence and prepare the case file. For now, the family remains focused on recovering from the shock and ensuring their safety. The legal system will determine next steps as Long faces the allegations in court on the scheduled date.

The most disgusting part of this story is that this homicidal maniac is out on a $1500 bond with a no-contact order, which I’m sure he’ll obey without question. Stay tuned for the next episode.
