Resurfaced clips show Msgr. Stephen Rossetti, once the Archdiocese of Washington’s exorcist, drawing support from fellow clergy for his warning that some UFO and alien encounters may be demonic deceptions; the footage reopened debate about how the Church and believers should respond to modern reports of unexplained phenomena. This article looks at the resurfaced material, the pastoral and theological questions it raises, and why discernment matters more than spectacle.
Video excerpts that have reappeared online capture a charged conversation among Catholic exorcists and thinkers about whether supernatural trickery can appear as modern UFO encounters. The clips suggest Rossetti’s stance—once controversial in official channels—has allies among other ministry veterans who argue demons can masquerade as something technological or extraterrestrial. That argument sits at the crossroads of faith, psychology, and cultural fascination with the unknown.
Msgr. Rossetti’s removal from his exorcist post remains a sharp detail behind the resurfaced footage, and the clips underscore why his remarks grabbed attention. For many priests and laypeople, the idea that spiritual evil could use contemporary imagery to deceive is both plausible and worrying. The debate is not simply about proof of otherworldly craft but about how spiritual leaders interpret and respond to experiences people bring to confession and pastoral care.
Exorcists who appear to nod toward Rossetti’s take often frame their comments in pastoral language rather than sensational claims. They emphasize discernment, careful investigation, and the need to rule out mental health issues and natural explanations before assuming a demonic cause. That measured approach pushes back against both naive credulity and dismissive skepticism, arguing for a process that respects faith while protecting vulnerable people.
On the theological side, the notion that demons might impersonate aliens is not new in Catholic thinking, though it sounds modern when placed in the context of UFOs and viral videos. Historically the Church has cautioned against jumping to spiritual conclusions without evidence, yet it has also acknowledged that spirit beings can deceive. The resurfaced clips revive that tension: how to take ancient categories and apply them sensibly in a world of smartphones and conspiracy forums.
Pastoral implications are practical and immediate. Priests and counselors who encounter parishioners convinced they saw something supernatural must balance compassion with clarity. Encouraging prayer, community support, and professional counseling remains essential, while investigations into physical or psychological explanations should proceed without stigma. The exorcists in the footage repeatedly stress that clergy should not play amateur scientists or sensationalists when dealing with frightened people.
The cultural angle matters too. UFO sightings and alien narratives have become a modern mythology, feeding online subcultures and sometimes amplifying fear. When spiritual leaders comment on these trends, their words can be mistaken for endorsement of fringe theories or used as fuel by conspiracy-minded groups. The resurfaced material shows how a conversation among clergy can be taken out of context or amplified in unexpected ways once it hits the internet.
Finally, the conversation the clips reopen should prompt institutions to clarify training and protocols for clergy who handle reports of unusual experiences. Clear guidance that includes psychiatric referral, scientific inquiry, and spiritual discernment would help prevent harm and reduce confusion. The footage around Rossetti’s views is less about proving one side right and more about insisting that caring, thoughtful responses are available when people bring extraordinary fears to their church leaders.

{Msgr. Rossetti Resurfaced Video Backs UFO Demon Claims}
I quote: “warning that some UFO and alien encounters may be demonic deceptions” ~Hell Yeah!
The supernatural and demons do exist and humans with their limited material faculties do not know all of Reality in its broadest sense! And yes Satan the Father of all lies does exist so people should wise up to the truth that there are many Deceptions being perpetrated upon the human race and there is absolutely a battle continuing on until doomsday between Good and Evil!
People should consider what Einstein said back in 1954 to allow themselves to at least begin to wrap their heads around what is going on in their short earthly material lifespan!
And in that writing of his back in 1954 he had to be more diplomatic and careful how he said the things he did so as not to alienate many fellow brilliant scientists, and though many of them were atheists they also would gain the benefit of what he wisely had to say!
-Albert Einstein, 1954 “The most beautiful and most profound experience is the sensation of the mystical. It is the sower of all true science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead. To know that what is impenetrable to us really exists, manifesting itself as the highest wisdom and the most radiant beauty which our dull faculties can comprehend only in their primitive forms – this knowledge, this feeling is at the centre of true religiousness.” -Albert Einstein – “The Merging of Spirit and Science”
This man the father of physics had said a few great one liners but two that stand out are these. He referred to God as the “Old One.” He speaking to other physicists was known to have said during a discussion about the “Big Bang Theory” in which one scientist said; “that with enough random events occurring in this pre-millisecond before it happened eureka the right combination occurred;” Einstein just plainly said; “God doesn’t play dice.”
Indeed people should wake up to what they really are and how extremely limited and perhaps even stupid we really are when it comes to ‘knowing it all’ or even enough!
Look around at the country and the world right now and see all of the rampant political/media corruption and deceptions going on, and can you possibly not truly think that this is one screwed and very lost world we occupy at the moment with our frail flesh bodies!
I sadly admit that we human beings are for the most part a delusional out of control herd of stupid self-destructive animals!
