The Department of Homeland Security is sounding a stark alarm: anti-ICE agitators are reportedly placing cash bounties on federal law enforcement officers, elevating already dangerous street violence into targeted murder-for-hire plots. These threats follow public attacks on federal facilities and agents during protests in multiple cities. The stakes are now life and death for men and women who enforce immigration and border laws.
DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin told Fox News that President Trump has taken steps to protect federal personnel by directing the National Guard to secure federal facilities in hotspots like Chicago and Portland. The aim is simple: protect federal assets and keep agents from being overwhelmed.
“As our law enforcement is being attacked, and as the public is put in danger, and at risk, those local law enforcement officers are told to stand down,” McLaughlin said. “They’re told to not help our law enforcement as they’re being attacked.”
“That’s so important because we do need to have that backup,” she added.
“And that’s why President Trump has brought in the resources. He’s brought in the National Guard to make sure that the public is safe. And make sure our law enforcement are safe.”
“Our law enforcement is facing a 1,000 percent increase in assaults against them. It’s not just [U.S. Border Patrol] Chief [Gregory] Bovino who has a bounty on his head,” the DHS spokesperson continued, pointing to the for the murder of Bovino by a Latin Kings gang member.
“We actually just found out from recent reporting that there’s more bounties. We have reports $2,000 for a single ICE agent to be killed.
“$5,000 for a mid-tier officer. It’s really disgusting what’s happening,” McLaughlin went on to say.
The DHS post with the clip read:
“[Illinois Democrat Governor] JB Pritzker is aiding and abetting violent criminals. President Trump is using his lawful authority to direct the National Guard to protect federal assets and personnel in Chicago following violent riots where officers have been assaulted and doxed by left-wing rioters. Law and order will win the day.”
Bill Melugin and other sources are reporting that on October 4th, a CPD “Chief of Patrol” instructed his police officers not to respond when ICE/Border Patrol asked for help when they were under attack following a shooting. This type of order virtually never comes from the local precinct cops; that order comes from local politicians, either the mayor or possibly the governor would have given such an order.
Thompson wrote that the “Chief of Patrol who ordered the stand-down is Jon Hein. It happened on Saturday.”
One of the highest-ranking officers in the Chicago Police Department barred city cops from responding to calls for help from federal agents who reported being surrounded by a large crowd in Brighton Park on Saturday, according to CPD radio transmissions.
CPD Chief of Patrol Jon Hein ordered city officers to leave the area as tensions escalated following the shooting of a woman by Border Patrol agents, supervisors said in recorded radio traffic.
On Thursday, the DHS also shared a screenshot from a prominent called Rose City Counter-info in Oregon, calling for people to be rewarded for aiming a laser pointer at an aircraft, causing all kinds of trouble.
“This is incredibly dangerous for the aircraft personnel and for the public’s safety,” the DHS wrote. “Antifa domestic terrorists WILL NOT overrun our cities. We will bust their networks and bring every one of them to justice.”
President Trump called a roundtable at the White House on Wednesday to bring national attention to the domestic terrorism plaguing our streets from Antifa. Some of what independent journalists have gone through covering the riots in Portland is beyond shocking.

Those Bounties were created by on illegal SOB, who’s now been arrested and now we have others carrying on illegally targeting ICE agents.
It’s time for Trump, to order deadly force against those who are placing those Bounties and shoot them.
All other violent protesters who throw bricks, metal pipes must also be brought down with deadly force.
