Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is under increasing scrutiny as she attempts to block subpoenas that would require her to testify before a Georgia State Senate Committee.
The investigation centers around allegations that Willis had an illicit affair with Nathan Wade, a top prosecutor she hired to lead the RICO and conspiracy case against former President Donald Trump.
The scandal escalated when it was revealed that Willis may have perjured herself in prior testimony about the nature of her relationship with Wade.
