In the heart of Pasadena, California, the National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON) operates under the guise of a career center. Yet, this so-called humanitarian organization is not dedicated to finding jobs for struggling American citizens. Instead, it works tirelessly to secure employment opportunities for those who have already broken the law to enter the United States. As the nation grapples with an economy still recovering from the disastrous policies of the Biden administration, many Americans remain jobless and financially strained. Meanwhile, NDLON’s priorities lie not with helping citizens but with supporting those who are here illegally.
NDLON is an activist organization masquerading as a labor rights group. Its mission statement, prominently displayed on its website, proudly declares its dedication to helping migrants and low-wage workers, stating:
“NDLON improves the lives of day laborers, migrants, and low-wage workers. We build leadership and power among those facing injustice so they can challenge inequality and expand labor, civil, and political rights for all. … NDLON aspires to live in a world of diverse communities where day laborers live with full rights and responsibilities in an environment of mutual respect, peace, harmony, and justice.”
Noticeably absent from their mission is any commitment to assisting legal American workers or veterans in need of jobs. Instead, NDLON’s focus is on “diversity” and “rights” for those who have crossed the border unlawfully. This approach highlights a disturbing trend among progressive organizations that place the interests of non-citizens above those of struggling Americans.
The reach of NDLON’s influence extends far beyond California. Partnered with 69 organizations across the United States, the network has embedded itself within communities nationwide. This extensive network effectively ensures that NDLON can facilitate illegal employment opportunities in cities from coast to coast. Whether it’s in New York, Texas, or Florida, chances are high that undocumented workers are being given job placements thanks to NDLON’s efforts.
In order to expose the truth behind NDLON’s operations, an undercover investigation was conducted. To verify whether the organization truly functions as an illegal employment ring, an individual posed as an undocumented migrant in a major U.S. city, armed with no documentation or identification. The experience revealed just how openly NDLON coordinates job placements for those here illegally. The network not only provided information on available jobs but also offered guidance on avoiding law enforcement scrutiny.
Despite presenting itself as a champion of labor rights, NDLON’s advocacy seems to go hand in hand with open support for anti-Trump rhetoric and left-wing misinformation. A recent post on their official Instagram account, dated March 25, 2025, accused U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) of “torturing people” at the Krome Detention Center in Miami, Florida. The caption read:
“Krome is an ICE Detention facility located in Miami, FL. Originally built as a missile base, Krome has been a site of terror for over 30 years. With a capacity of 600, Krome is currently holding over 4,000 people in captivity.”
This accusation is not just misleading—it is a blatant falsehood. First and foremost, no one is forcing these individuals to come to the United States illegally. These migrants are not prisoners or captives—they willingly crossed the border in defiance of immigration laws. Furthermore, there is no credible evidence to support claims of torture. What is true, however, is that Krome, like many other detention centers, is overcrowded. This issue is a direct result of the Biden administration’s lax border policies, which have led to an overwhelming surge of illegal crossings.
WATCH:
Rather than addressing the root cause of the crisis—namely, the reckless open-border policies encouraged by progressives—NDLON instead blames ICE and law enforcement. The truth is that ICE is doing its job: processing those who have violated U.S. immigration laws and ensuring they are returned to their home countries when caught. In Florida, which remains a hotspot for illegal immigration, ICE has been working tirelessly to address the problem. Just last month, ICE agents made 32 arrests in Palm Beach County alone.
For those who find fault with the enforcement of immigration laws, the solution is remarkably simple: do not enter the country illegally. America is not a luxury resort for those seeking to bypass the legal system, nor is it a career center for individuals who disregard the nation’s sovereignty. The United States has every right to prioritize the well-being and employment of its own citizens rather than facilitating the economic aspirations of undocumented migrants.
NDLON’s operations highlight a troubling contradiction in liberal rhetoric. While Democrats claim to support American workers, organizations like NDLON are openly undermining the job prospects of citizens by helping illegal aliens find work. At a time when many Americans are struggling to make ends meet, it is nothing short of disgraceful that a taxpayer-supported nonprofit would dedicate its resources to circumventing immigration laws.
The mainstream media continues to turn a blind eye to these activities, preferring instead to parrot progressive talking points about diversity and inclusion. Meanwhile, patriotic Americans are left to wonder why their own interests are continually pushed aside in favor of those who have no legal right to be here.
As long as organizations like NDLON are allowed to operate without scrutiny, American workers will continue to face unfair competition in the job market. It is time to hold these groups accountable and demand that nonprofit organizations prioritize the needs of citizens over the interests of those who broke the law to enter the country. America deserves better.
