The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has taken The New York Times to task for leaving out a crucial detail in their coverage of a shocking crime in New York City.

It involves a suspect accused of an unimaginable act on a subway train. The Times failed to report that Felix Rojas, the accused, is an illegal alien with a history of crossing U.S. borders unlawfully.

NYPD reports reveal the disturbing events that unfolded on the subway. Rojas allegedly found a deceased man and, rather than seeking help, chose to rob and later assault the body. Such acts are not just morally reprehensible but highlight the dangers lurking in public spaces.

Charlie Kirk highlighted this on social media, drawing attention to Rojas’ illegal status. The DHS wasn’t pleased with the Times’ oversight. Tricia McLaughlin, from the DHS, expressed her frustration with the media’s selective reporting.

“The New York Times refused to mention anywhere in its 400-word story on the monstrous rape of a corpse on the NYC subway that the depraved perpetrator is an ILLEGAL alien,” McLaughlin stated publicly. Her words underscore a growing concern about transparency in media. The omission raises questions about the journalistic integrity of such publications.

Fox News Digital made attempts to get comments from the Times but has yet to receive a response. The crime itself is appalling, with Rojas’ alleged actions on a subway train shocking the city. As reported, the deceased was found on the R train, with Rojas allegedly engaging in vile acts after ensuring no one was looking.

Further details from Fox News confirm Rojas’ repeated illegal entries into the U.S. since 1998. It’s troubling that someone with such a background could roam freely. The incident also questions the effectiveness of current immigration policies.

ICE has since issued a detainer for Rojas, a move that came days after the Times’ initial report. Other media outlets, like The New York Post, initially missed the immigration angle but later corrected their coverage. Immigration status is a significant detail, especially in cases involving criminal activity.

Authorities are now investigating if Rojas might be linked to other crimes in the city. The case is a stark reminder of the potential consequences of lax immigration enforcement. McLaughlin’s comments emphasize the need for strict policies to prevent such incidents.

“With impunity, open-border policies have allowed violent criminal aliens to terrorize America’s towns and cities,” she remarked. The DHS is clearly focused on addressing these issues under the current administration. Their aim is to ensure that those breaking laws face the consequences.

President Trump and Secretary Kristi Noem are praised for their tough stance on immigration. The administration’s focus is on securing communities and enforcing laws. McLaughlin’s statement reflects a commitment to removing dangerous individuals.

“If you are here illegally and break the law, we will hunt you down, arrest you and lock you up,” she declared. The DHS is clear in its mission to protect citizens. This case serves as a reminder of the importance of law enforcement and immigration control.

The ongoing investigation into Rojas’ activities in New York continues. Authorities are determined to uncover any further criminal connections. As the story develops, the focus remains on justice and safety for the community.
