Coast Guard Member Disputes White House Explanation of Drone Incident

A mysterious incident involving a swarm of drones near a Coast Guard vessel off the New Jersey coast has sparked a heated debate, with a Coast Guard crew member accusing the White House of dismissing the event without proper investigation.

Speaking exclusively to the New York Post, the anonymous crew member challenged National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby’s remarks, which downplayed the significance of the incident.

The encounter reportedly occurred around 9 p.m. and involved as many as 30 drones suddenly appearing in the vicinity of the Coast Guard vessel. The crew member described the drones as advanced, stating that they followed the ship for approximately 15 minutes, mimicking its movements before disappearing toward the shore.

“The drones appeared out of nowhere,” the crew member said. “They were about 80 to 100 feet above us, with four propellers, a wingspan of seven feet, and flashing green, red, and white lights.”

The drones reportedly kept pace with the vessel at 20 miles per hour, demonstrating movements and capabilities far beyond what the crew member associated with commercial drones.

John Kirby, speaking on behalf of the National Security Council, dismissed concerns over the incident, stating there was no evidence to corroborate the reports of drones in the area.

“We have no evidence at this time that the reported drone sightings pose a national security or public safety threat or have a foreign nexus,” Kirby said. “The work continues.”

Kirby added that forensic analysis suggested the Coast Guard likely mistook incoming airliners for drones.

The crew member vehemently rejected the White House’s explanation, calling it “insulting” and accusing officials of fabricating their narrative.

“It’s implying we’re making sh-t up,” the crew member said. “When the ones making up sh-t are down in Washington, D.C. Commercial airplanes don’t move like that. I’ve been out there when planes were coming in for landings in New York, and trust me, you can tell the difference. We’re not idiots; we know what drones look and sound like.”

The crew member described the drones as resembling government-grade models, not the kind available for commercial purchase.

“These weren’t the types of drones you can buy at the store. These were government drones,” he said.

He dismissed Kirby and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’s comments outright, stating bluntly, “They’re full of sh-t.”

Despite the Biden administration’s dismissal of the incident, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has implemented a temporary ban on drone operations over parts of New Jersey. The ban, which lasts until January 17, covers a one-mile radius around designated areas and authorizes the use of “deadly force” against drones posing an imminent security threat.

Critics argue the FAA’s response undermines the administration’s claim that there is no national security risk.

“About time!” tweeted one observer, referencing the FAA’s firm stance on the matter.

The drone incident is part of a broader pattern of unexplained activity near sensitive areas, raising questions about potential national security risks. Investigative journalist Michael Shellenberger voiced skepticism over the administration’s dismissal of such events.

“The DOD-FBI-DHS-FAA say they thoroughly investigated all ~6,000 drone reports, but there’s no way they could have. They’re lying because, apparently, they don’t want to talk about why they can’t control the airspace above either our military bases or our residential areas,” Shellenberger tweeted.

The frequency of drone activity near military installations and critical infrastructure has become a growing concern among experts and military personnel.

The Coast Guard member’s account adds weight to the ongoing debate over the nature of these drone sightings and their implications for national security. While the administration insists the incidents are benign or misinterpreted, voices from within the military and expert circles continue to push for transparency and accountability.

Critics argue the administration’s contradictory actions—downplaying the reports while imposing restrictive measures—reflect a lack of coherence in addressing potential threats.

The origin and purpose of the drones remain unknown, fueling speculation about advanced technology, surveillance activities, or foreign involvement. As investigations continue, the debate underscores the challenges of maintaining security in increasingly crowded airspace.

For now, the Coast Guard crew’s claims remain a stark reminder of the tension between firsthand accounts and official narratives. Whether the truth emerges depends on the transparency of ongoing investigations and the willingness of authorities to address the mounting concerns of those on the front lines.

Cue the laugh track. Anyone that believes the first syllable coming out of the soup holes of those radicals currently running this (non)government, should immediately schedule their long overdue lobotomy! The level of confidence in this current government is below that of whale dung!

We find ourselves in the unenviable situation wherein our government is as full of sh$t as a Christmas turkey. Lying and spouting inane garbage with the full belief that anyone possibly believes them. A simple truthful explanation would suffice, but that is impossible for the congenital liars running our government. You would have thought that at least one segment of government would NOT be full of crap, but that is too much to hope for. If there is still a US Government remaining in January, perhaps Trump can revive some semblance of truth and transparency. As it is, I have little hope that Biden and his band of misfits will do anything right in the next 40 days. God Help the USA!
