The following article, California’s Burn Notice: The Scorched Playlist, was first published on The Black Sphere.

Tragedies will always occur in America, because we will sadly always have leftists. The fires in LA showcase how bad things can get when you allow leftists to be in charge.

I decided to look at songs that would be tributes to the $60B+ fiasco created by the Lesbian leadership of the LA fire department, and their DEI-obsessed leadership. Below is our list of song tributes:

1. “We Didn’t Start the Fire” – Billy Joel

Original:
“We didn’t start the fire
It was always burning
Since the world’s been turning.”

New Version:
“We didn’t fill the water
It was always draining
Since the Left’s been reigning.”

2. “Burning Down the House” – Talking Heads

Original:
Hold tight
Wait ’til the party’s over

New Version:
Hold tight
Lesbians are in place

Original:
Hold tight
DEI debate is over

Burnin’ down the state

Try to set the night on fire.”

James Taylor wrote the beautiful folk song, “Fire & Rain,” back in 1970 and its fires of popularity still burn strong today. Of course, “Light My Fire” by The Doors made our list of the best songs about fire, as did the Johnny cash hit, “Ring of Fire.”

Some of the fire songs on this list are a lot of fun. Who can resist dancing to The Tramps’ hit, “Disco Inferno.” Another great fire song is from the fun-loving group, Bloodhound Gang. Their 1997 song “Fire Water Burn” was a big hit.

Do you see your favorite songs about fire on this list? Vote them to the top and add any we may have missed.

You can bet these songwriters never anticipated their works used in this manner.
