Former President Donald Trump stirred up controversy on Monday after accusing President Joe Biden and the Pentagon of withholding critical information about mysterious drones spotted over New Jersey and New York. Trump’s bold claims came during a fiery press conference in Palm Beach, Florida, where he insisted the government knows far more about the situation than it’s letting on.
The drone sightings, which have reportedly been witnessed by thousands of residents across the Garden State and parts of New York City, have captured public attention. Videos showing the mysterious aircraft hovering over residential areas and city skylines have spread across social media, fueling speculation and demands for answers. However, the Biden administration and Pentagon have maintained silence, claiming ignorance—a stance Trump finds deeply suspicious.
During the 70-minute press conference, Trump, 78, didn’t mince words, accusing the government of intentionally keeping the public in the dark.
“The government knows what is happening,” Trump declared. “Our military knows where they took off from—if it’s a garage, they can go right into that garage. They know where it came from and where it went, and for some reason, they don’t want to comment.”
Doubling down on his assertion, Trump added, “And I think they’d be better off saying what it is. Our military knows, and our president knows. And for some reason, they want to keep people in suspense.”
When pressed by a reporter on whether he had received a briefing on the drone activity, Trump sidestepped the question. “I don’t want to comment on that,” he said, further deepening the intrigue.
Trump also addressed the possibility of foreign involvement but quickly dismissed it. “I can’t imagine it’s the enemy. Because if it was the enemy, they’d blast it out—even if they were late, they’d blast it,” he speculated. “Something strange is going on.”
In his trademark style, Trump managed to weave humor into the situation, joking about his weekend plans at his Bedminster, New Jersey golf club. “They’re very close to Bedminster. I think maybe I won’t spend the weekend there. I’ve decided to cancel my trip,” he quipped, earning laughs from the press.
While Trump’s remarks have reignited public interest in the mystery, the Biden administration has remained tight-lipped. White House spokesman John Kirby addressed the issue last week, but his comments did little to quell growing skepticism.
“Federal, state, and local law enforcement officials have been unable to corroborate any visual evidence,” Kirby claimed. However, with drone footage circulating widely online, many Americans find this response unsatisfactory.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) also weighed in, promising greater transparency on the issue. “New Yorkers have tremendous questions about [the drones],” Schumer stated. “We are going to get the answers.”
Despite Schumer’s assurance, neither the Pentagon nor the White House has provided any new information about the strange sightings. The silence has only intensified speculation, with many questioning whether the drones could be linked to surveillance, foreign adversaries, or even domestic technological experiments.
The drone mystery comes at a time of growing public interest in aerial phenomena. Recent years have seen the U.S. government declassify previously secret reports on unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs). The acknowledgment of such events has fueled curiosity—and, at times, distrust—among Americans regarding the government’s handling of these situations.
Trump’s comments have amplified this distrust. His insistence that the military and Biden administration are aware of the drones’ origins resonates with many Americans who feel their government is withholding information.
“Trump’s words reflect what a lot of people are thinking,” said political analyst David McCormick. “When you see footage of drones in your neighborhood and the government says they don’t know what’s happening, it raises serious questions.”
As speculation swirls, the Biden administration’s reluctance to address the issue head-on leaves the public with more questions than answers. Are these drones part of a covert domestic operation? Could they be linked to foreign entities? Or is the explanation something more benign, such as commercial drone testing gone awry?
Regardless of the source, Trump’s remarks have reignited debates over government transparency and national security. His claims, while unverified, highlight a broader concern: Americans want clarity and accountability when it comes to unexplained aerial activity.
As Trump concluded, “The government knows exactly what’s going on. They should tell the public.”
With growing pressure from both political leaders like Schumer and public voices amplified by Trump, the Biden administration may soon face mounting demands to disclose what it knows about the mysterious drones hovering over New York and New Jersey. For now, though, the mystery remains unsolved—and Americans aren’t letting it fly under the radar.

The government lies all the time and those in control are not our friends so be concerned more about that much more than whether some aliens from some far away galaxy are here and aren’t friendly! Bottom-line these sightings are being seen in various locations around the planet not just here, so we know how the “Globalists Totalitarians” shoved the “Plan-demic” down our throats to “alter our behavior” toward their getting “more Control over us” and you can bet your “bottom dollar” they “haven’t stopped planning for that eventual goal,” so this must pretty much be “part of the plan!” The dystopian world of “Orwell’s 1984” or the kinds of “games or psyops” going on in the old movie “Blade Runner” are really taking shape in our “gluttony greed infested man-made system” of “the haves and the have nots” that we are all sucked into! The “Elitists want the whole pie” and the rest of us are in their way so “they must control or eliminate most of us!”
We need to have a law that requires all drones over 12 ounces gross weight to have transponders that identify the owner and type of drone, its size and if any its normal missions.
Failure to have a transponder that broadcasts location and trajectory information should be a FELONY.
Djea, I agree, that’s a perfect suggestion, as it stands between NORAD and the FAA pretty much all aircraft must file or have a flight plan and be accounted for and accountable when in the sky’s above us and follow many regulations for safe and appropriate flight! But all these damn Drones have become a “can of worms” in common vernacular as it seems they can operate “willy-nilly and even clandestinely” in the sky’s and “nobody seems to know or care” all of a sudden what is “buzzing around in the airspace above us and our cities!” That could lead to some major problems and consequences if it’s not clamped down ASAP!
