5 Smartphones That Outlast The Google Pixel 11 Pro

The Google Pixel 11 Pro may still land in the solid-battery category, but it is far from the best option for anyone who hates scrambling for a charger. Independent tests put several other phones ahead of it, including bigger flagships, a few surprisingly efficient alternatives, and one budget model that punches way above its weight. Battery life is one of those things that feels minor until a phone starts dying early, and then it becomes the whole story.

At the top of the list is the Pixel 11 Pro XL, which keeps the familiar Pixel feel but stretches it with a bigger battery and a larger display. Test results from multiple reviewers show it lasting longer than the regular Pro in mixed use, video streaming, and broader real-world checks. The extra size also brings faster charging and the same core Pixel camera setup, so the tradeoff is mostly about convenience and price.

Samsung’s Galaxy S26+ makes a strong case too, and it does it without needing some giant battery monster inside. Its 4,900 mAh cell, paired with Samsung’s hardware tuning, gives it an edge in several independent tests, including mixed-use and video playback scenarios. Even with a larger screen, it keeps going longer than the Pixel 11 Pro, which is exactly the kind of result that matters when the day keeps dragging on.

Then there is the iPhone 18 Pro Max, a phone that plays in a different league when battery endurance is the main concern. Reviewers found it lasting well beyond the Pixel 11 Pro, with one test pushing it to a standout result that put it near the top of the entire smartphone pack. It is a big, expensive device, but it backs up that size with serious stamina and a feature set that matches its premium status.

The OnePlus 15R is the wild card here, because it leans hard into battery size and does not apologize for it. With a massive 7,400 mAh silicon-carbon battery, it beats the Pixel 11 Pro by a wide margin in several tests, from mixed use to streaming to longer endurance runs. The funny part is that it does all this while still feeling like a mainstream flagship rather than a battery brick.

On the budget end, Motorola’s Moto G Play (2026) proves that long battery life does not have to come wrapped in a luxury price tag. Its 5,200 mAh battery helps it outlast the Pixel 11 Pro in the same independent tests, even though it costs a fraction of what Google asks for its flagship. That makes it one of the easiest picks for people who care more about all-day power than premium bells and whistles.

What makes these comparisons useful is that they are not based on marketing claims alone. The figures come from independent testing by outlets such as GSMArena, PCMag, and PhoneArena, which gives the battery results more weight than a manufacturer’s own estimate ever could. That matters because phone battery life can swing a lot depending on screen brightness, browsing, streaming, gaming, and just how hard the device gets pushed during the day.

The big takeaway is that the Pixel 11 Pro is good, but good is not the same as best. If battery life is the deciding factor, there are stronger options across several price ranges and phone styles, from the Pixel 11 Pro XL all the way down to the Moto G Play. And with more phones now using bigger cells and smarter power management, the battery race is only getting more interesting.
