As expected, the ABC debate unfolded just Americans anticipated – with the media declaring Kamala Harris the winner regardless of her performance.
This morning, they are already championing her.
However, throughout the entire evening, Harris consistently lied and avoided answering questions.
The moderators failed to fact-check her lies, including her “fine people” fabrication, which by now is widely recognized as false by nearly everyone except Harris and Joe Biden.
Despite knowing the truth, they continue to perpetuate it.
The ABC moderators were clearly biased, offering Harris protection while fact-checking former President Donald Trump but neglecting to do so for Harris.
But what did voters take away from it all?
A CBS focus group of Pennsylvania voters was interesting on the subject. It had five people, three thought Harris won, and two thought Trump won.

A black female voter who believed Trump won expressed that Harris merely echoed Biden’s previous statements, which she found accurate.
According to her, Harris reiterated all the falsehoods that Biden has spread about Trump, which raises questions about how this constitutes a “new way forward.”
The young man sitting beside her remarked that Trump delivered a compelling closing statement, questioning why she hadn’t implemented the proposals she’s now advocating for during her time in office.
He noted the black man next to him nodding in agreement, indicating that he also found merit in the point, despite his belief that Kamala had won.
The young man suggested that Harris was attempting to present herself as a moderate akin to Joe Biden, but failed to address her policy changes, likening it to a “facade.”
Democrat strategist Doug Schoen, who previously expressed reluctance to support Kamala Harris due to her shifting positions, made an astute observation.
While he believed Harris had won the debate, he emphasized that Trump’s closing statement still held true. Additionally, he raised concerns about moderator bias during the event.
Voters remain angry about the direction the country is headed, about the performance of both President Biden and Harris, as well as which candidate they trust more on the top two or three issues facing the country: the economy, immigration and law and order. [….]
And many voters, indeed a majority of voters, agree with his core assessment of the current state of our nation. [….]
The debate was hardly fair. And absent a debate on Fox News, there’s little reason to believe he’ll get a fair shake from any other network.
So essentially, that’s the crux of it. Harris is capable of lying, and the media can shield her.
However, when it comes down to it, the economy is what really matters. It always has been. And on those critical issues, voters have more faith in Trump.
He must consistently emphasize the message from his closing statement and delve deeper into it. Even when he feels like he’s discussed it enough, he should keep emphasizing how they’ve fallen short.
That’s the point he must continue to stress until Election Day.
