A video that went viral, filmed by an attendee of a rally held by former President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, captured a person running across the same roof from which Thomas Matthew Crooks later shot Trump.
The tragic incident resulted in the death of one attendee and injuries to three others, including President Trump.
The footage was obtained by Fox News and recorded by James Copenhaver, one of the injured victims at the rally on July 13. In the video, an individual is seen moving swiftly across the roof where Crooks would later take aim at Trump.
According to Fox News, the video was taken at 6:08 p.m., just three minutes before Crooks began firing at Trump.

Copenhaver was critically wounded after being shot twice and is currently in a rehabilitation center, according to attorney Joseph Feldman at the Law Offices of Max C. Feldman.
The lawyer told the outlet that Copenhaver “had almost seen or heard something whiz past him, which we’re assuming was a bullet.”
“He felt it on his arm, and he looked down at his arm…and felt pain initially, but he hadn’t even realized he had been shot a second time at that point. It could have been shock,” he added.
The recently uncovered video emerges as the U.S. Secret Service faces scrutiny from Congress for failing to provide satisfactory explanations regarding how Crooks managed to obtain a clear line of sight to the former president on that day.
Additionally, unanswered questions arise from the fact that Crooks was able to fly a drone in the area without detection prior to the rally, as well as concerns about the alleged inability of Secret Service counter-snipers to spot Crooks on the adjacent roof.
During testimony before the Senate Homeland Security Committee on Tuesday, Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe stated that the agency was unaware of Crooks until gunshots were heard.
“Based on what I know right now, neither the Secret Service counter-sniper teams nor members of the former president’s security detail had any knowledge that there was a man on the roof of the AGR building with a firearm,” Rowe told lawmakers.
“It is my understanding those personnel were not aware the assailant had a firearm until they heard gunshots,” he continued, adding that a Secret Service counter-sniper “neutralized the assailant within seconds after the assailant fired his weapon. That counter-sniper had full discretion to use deadly force to stop an attacker and did not need to seek authorization to fire.”
Rowe’s claim echoes the explanation given by former U.S. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle for why the roof was left uncovered, citing concerns about the safety of putting someone on a sloped roof.
During Tuesday’s testimony, Rowe declined to reveal who specifically had denied requests for increased security from Trump’s security team over the past two years.

Enough already with this sloped roof horse shit excuse! NO WAY was that any issue or excuse to not have that roof 100% secured, the damn slop of the roof is 5 degrees, almost flat and they talk about it as though it were a steeple on a huge church! The head of Trump’s on site secret service team needs to be FIRED summarily. Cheatle is gone with good cause but there are too many to blame.
Time to CLEAN HOUSE and terminate every person who had duty and authority over this deep state debacle. Time to end the hiring and employment of those without the ability to perform the job.
Once terminated those should never be allowed in law enforcement again and never be allowed in pubilic employment again.
