Angelia “Angie” Solomon from Franklin, Tennessee, has been arrested for allegedly plotting to murder her ex-husband. The charges against her are for solicitation to commit first-degree murder. Currently, she is in Williamson County jail with a bond set at $500,000.
Her ex-husband, Aaron Solomon, was once a local news anchor for WSMV Channel 4. The couple ended their marriage in 2014. The arrest affidavit claims Angie sought Aaron’s death to allow her daughter, Gracie Solomon, access to a trust fund.
On April 1, 2025, Angie allegedly met with an undercover officer posing as a hitman. The meeting took place in a parking lot in Franklin, Tennessee. The affidavit details how Angie offered her vehicle’s registration as collateral for the job.
The affidavit further states Angie told the undercover officer about Aaron’s possible locations. This included his workplaces, restaurants, and residential area. Such information was supposedly provided to aid in the alleged murder-for-hire plot.
The Solomon family has been in the news before due to a tragic incident. In July 2020, their son Grant Solomon died in a car accident. Grant was just 18 when he was accidentally run over by his own vehicle.

That’s a mostly non-violent crime compared to MS-13. That Garcia fellow has a congressman looking after him now. This woman needs the same fair treatment and representation. MS-13–murder, rape, drugs. This woman is a novice criminal. Ibarra got released on $500 bail so he could go out and rape Laken Riley and beat her to death with a rock. He isn’t even a citizen and got better treatment that an attempted murder for hire. Not fair. Not equal treatment under the law. This woman needs Ibara’s lawyer to represent her.
