In a shocking turn of events, Travis County District Attorney José Garza has launched an attack on justice by seeking to overturn Governor Abbott’s pardon of Sgt. Daniel Perry, a veteran who was wrongfully convicted of fatally shooting a BLM/Antifa protestor in self-defense.
According to reports, Garza, who is backed by notorious billionaire George Soros, held a press conference on Tuesday where he accused the Board of Pardons and Paroles and Governor Abbott of putting their own political agendas above the rule of law.
Garza’s statement reeks of hypocrisy as it is clear that he himself is using his position for political gain rather than upholding justice for all.
It is no secret that Soros has been funneling millions of dollars into local elections across the country in an effort to push his radical leftist agenda.
But this latest move by Garza goes beyond just playing politics – it shows a blatant disregard for the truth and a complete lack of respect for our legal system.
Sgt. Daniel Perry was simply trying to defend himself when he was attacked by an angry mob during last year’s violent protests. He did what any law-abiding citizen would do in that situation – protect himself and others around him.
Yet, despite overwhelming evidence proving his innocence, Perry was still wrongfully convicted and sentenced to prison.
Here is a video of the “victim”. explaining why he has an AK-47 to deal with p—ies who oppose him just before he was shot:

It wasn’t until Governor Abbott stepped in with a pardon that justice was finally served.

But now, thanks to Garza’s actions, Perry may once again be subjected to the corrupt and biased legal system that almost destroyed his life.
And he’s not alone.
A group of Democrat state attorneys general have also called on the Department of Justice to investigate Governor Abbott’s decision to pardon Perry.
This is nothing but a desperate attempt by the left to undermine our justice system and push their radical ideology onto innocent individuals.
Travis County District Attorney Jose Garza
According to David Fugitt the lead detective on the case, District Attorney Joze Garza and his office had him remove 100 pages of exculpatory evidence.
The DA’s office had him shorten his presentation from 158 slides to 56 slides.
Fugitt added that this was likely criminal behavior.
The fact that Soros-backed individuals like Garza are gaining power and influence in our legal system is a clear indication that we must remain vigilant and continue to fight for what is right.

It would behoove every American if that soros snake AND his money were removed from my country!!
It’s beyond me as to why that anti-american POS is not taken out.
How can a DA override the Governor of the state in which he resides?
IF the D.A. Garza caused exculpatory material to be withheld, that would be grounds for HIM being prosecuted on numerous charges, all of which carry prison time.
Perhaps the Governor aught to have the Texas State Police and the State’s Attorney General initiate an investigation which, if what has be categorically stated about Garza can be verified, will see him behind bars for that.
That is the most accurate and sentient remark on this case I’ve heard in a long time. I read accusations about them failing to turn over evidence before the trial ever started. Seems to be a pattern. That would also bring into question every trial brought by the prosecutor’s office since Garza has been in charge.
