LOOK: Benny Johnson Targeted in Violent Robbery at Oakland In-N-Out

Conservative political commentator and YouTuber Benny Johnson and his team fell victim to theft while filming a documentary on California’s increasing crime rates.
The incident took place during their coverage of the closure of an In-N-Out Burger outlet in Oakland, which was shutting down due to a surge in robberies.
The city’s crime issues, including armed robberies and car break-ins, have forced the profitable restaurant to cease operations.

Crime has been steadily increasing in Oakland for several months. The city is currently being led by District Attorney Pamela Price, who has received support from George Soros and is now facing a recall campaign.

Johnson embarked on a project to highlight the concerning uptick in crime rates in California and the negative impact it has had on local businesses like In-N-Out Burger.

However, ironically, Johnson and his team became victims of the very crimes they were investigating while documenting these issues.

“I Just Got ROBBED At In-N-Out Burger,” Johnson lamented on X.

The robbery occurred during daylight hours, at approximately 2 p.m., taking the crew by surprise. ALX, Johnson’s producer and a witness in the vehicle, reported that an attacker broke the car window while trying to grab a bag.
“I was in the car when it happened, the rest of the team was probably about 20 feet away. A car pulled up, someone jumped out, smashed the window and tried to take a bag, I had to rip it from his hands and told him to “f*ck off.” Oakland is a third world country,” Alx wrote.

Royce Chamberlin, the Director of Photography, disclosed that it was his own belongings that were almost stolen.
“It was my bag that was nearly stolen! Luckily Alx was there to pry it from the hands of the thief. Almost this exact thing happened last time I was in the area! This is a fallen place…” Chamberlin wrote.

Chamberlin mentioned that this was not the first time they had been robbed in crime-infested California.
“I work as the Director of Photography for Benny Johnson. This is NOT the first time we have been Robbed in the Bay Area. Last year, while filming in front of Pelosi’s house with secret service across the street, we were robbed! This place has been ignored and forgotten by the ruling class who “claim” to care about you…” Chamberlin wrote.

    Well, there you go, the people of Oakland voted so they can live that way, they like the crime, because if they didn’t, they would vote responsible people into office! But they prefer criminals in office pocketing the tax funds!

    As noted in the post above, you get what you vote for. Oakland voters voted for Biden and the Dems. Let’s see if they do it again. Is it bad enough yet?
