According to Axios, House Democrat leaders are mobilizing their supporters to oppose a Republican bill set for a vote next week.
The bill, known as the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act (SAVE Act), aims to require proof of U.S. citizenship for participation in federal elections.
Stephen Miller, Senior Advisor to President Trump and Founder of America First Legal, expressed his disbelief on X, writing, “Read the below. Then read it again. The SAVE Act is set for a vote next week. If approved, it will mandate the presentation of “documentary proof of United States citizenship” for participation in federal elections.
Mike Johnson summarized the key features of the SAVE Act:
- It requires state election officials to ask about citizenship before providing voter registration forms.
- It mandates an individual to provide proof of citizenship to register to vote in federal elections.
- It allows state officials to accept a wide variety of documents that will make it easy for citizens to register to vote in federal elections.
- It provides states with access to federal agency databases so they can remove noncitizens from voter rolls and confirm citizenship for individuals lacking proof of citizenship.
- It directs DHS to determine whether to conduct removal proceedings if a noncitizen has been identified as having registered to vote in federal elections.
- It requires DHS to notify a state chief election official whenever an individual has been naturalized.

Axios reported that House Minority Whip Katherine Clark’s (D-Mass.) office has urged House Democrats to “VOTE NO” on the bill. Clark’s office warned that the bill would “prevent Americans from registering to vote with their driver’s license alone” and would make a passport the “only acceptable standalone form of identification.”
They added that the bill would create an “extreme burden for countless Americans” and “further intimidate election officials and overburden states’ abilities to enroll new voters.”
Elon Musk has weighed in on the controversy, tweeting, “Those who oppose this are traitors. All Caps: TRAITORS. What is the penalty for traitors again?”

In the early part of this year, The Oversight Project disclosed that flyers were being distributed at a non-governmental organization (NGO) in Mexico, instructing illegal immigrants to vote for Joe Biden in the upcoming U.S. election.
These contentious flyers were found scattered around the Resource Center Matamoras (RCM), a facility renowned for assisting migrants, and some were even discovered on the walls inside port-a-potties at the location.

Sue; all you said is true, and it’s what I’ve been saying for years having seen and dealt firsthand with Democrat political corruption! I wrote yesterday the following regarding the recent change in Washington State now having dropped the residency requirement in registering to vote there.
I saw quite a few years ago while living out in Southern California the numbers of wild Left Wing Space Cadets heading north infiltrating Washington State and Oregon that they were out to change the Political Landscape there and make it very Leftist Democrat which they did in spades! I spent some time in Washington State before it got so screwed up and back then it was a cool place with a fair amount of balance but now it’s all off the rocker and bonkers! I won’t go near it. I add the following to point out what unchecked manipulation or rigging of a government leads to.
I saw this coming many years ago when they were piling into Washington and Oregon; not hard to figure how the process of degeneration would play out and now its happening! But on a national scale they the cretins behind the curtain are manipulating the situation to produce that same effect across the board, with tens of millions of infiltrators many Leftist and Commies, with some worthy ones mixed in; but mostly all a burden and nothing but future problems.
One only need look at what happened in places like Venezuela to see how that process unfolds.
The scary and actually shocking thought is something I thought about after I did some reading the other day while doing some research for something that I was writing, which was about a character from the WW II Era, who was quite sinister and nefarious being a right hand man of Hitler’s, and I think how people like him are now vastly beyond what he was talking about back then in Nazi Germany!
