Comey Notes Expose Clinton Russia Scheme, DOJ Faces Scrutiny

The newly surfaced handwritten notes from James Comey have the feel of a true “smoking gun” — a scrap of paper that pulls back the curtain on a partisan operation and the officials who enabled it. These pages suggest more than carelessness; they point to deliberate choices, apparent cover-ups and behavior that looks a lot like raw political weaponization of the intelligence community. The notes also raise straightforward questions about truthfulness under oath, preservation of evidence and how influential figures sidelined accountability. What was meant to vanish in secrecy now forces a public reckoning over who knew what, and when.

The comparison to Watergate hardly feels like hyperbole. The ex-FBI potentate is “Nixonian” in a myriad of ways — needy, narcissistic, vindictive and manipulative. Both men professed a commitment to the rule of law while privately treating facts as malleable tools. Nixon left a legacy of tapes and scandal; Comey left behind scribbles that could reshape the narrative about the Russia probe.

There is an almost comic attempt at secrecy attached to the notes. They were allegedly consigned to an incinerator and stashed inside one of five “burn bags” in a locked, high security room at the FBI. The plan was simple: erase the paper trail and hope no one pieced the story together. For reasons still not fully explained, the plan failed and the notes survived.

Those surviving scrawls contain admissions that matter. One entry signals Comey’s early awareness that the Russia-collusion line was not an organic intelligence finding but a political construct born in Hillary Clinton’s orbit and greenlit by her campaign. That admission undercuts later public testimony in which he attempted to distance himself from the political origins of the probe.

HOW JAMES COMEY’S INDICTMENT COULD GO SOUTH FOR THE DOJ

Special Counsel John Durham’s 2023 report put Clinton’s intentions plainly, saying they were “to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security services,” thereby trying to influence an election. That phrasing, taken from the investigation’s findings, nails down the political objective behind the dossier era. If true, it reframes the entire episode from a law enforcement matter into a partisan attack dressed up as intelligence analysis.

When pressed before Congress, Comey leaned on a convenient lapse of memory and insisted he could not recall the specifics of any Clinton-driven plan. That defense now collides with his own handwriting, which bluntly notes “HRC plan to tie Trump.” This is not an ambiguous phrase; it’s a direct, contemporaneous observation that contradicts later claims of forgetfulness.

The notes point to a probable source as well — marked in the jottings as “JB,” widely understood to be then-CIA Director John Brennan. That attribution stacks with Brennan’s own declassified notes suggesting intelligence chatter about political motives. Two sets of internal notes, created by senior intelligence officials, lining up on the same point is more than coincidence; it’s corroboration that demands follow-up.

The political and legal stakes are obvious. Documents that show a senior FBI official acknowledging a partisan plot undercut the credibility of investigatory choices made in 2016 and beyond. Republicans will naturally press for accountability and transparency, demanding to know why notes were hidden and why relevant testimony appeared selective. The balance between national security secrecy and the need for a truthful record is at the heart of this fight, and these notes have pushed that debate into the open.

Hilary should and must be charged with the crime of sedition and/or treason for her roll in the attempted criminal charges against Trump and put in prison for her lies and deception of the true facts. Arrest her now!
