In a story that many had hoped would fade from memory, the controversy surrounding Dr. Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and their connection to the controversial beagle experiments continues to resonate.
Newly obtained documents reveal that Dr. Fauci was aware of the ethically questionable practice of subjecting beagles to forced sandfly bites for disease transmission.
The scandal came to light towards the end of the pandemic, when it was disclosed that a laboratory in Tunisia had been using mesh cages to expose beagles to sandflies to study disease transmission.
Following this revelation, Fauci and the NIAID denied involvement and attempted to distance themselves from the study.
However, it has since been proven that they were directly involved, prompting Dr. Fauci to take steps to clear his name after the fact.
The White Coat Waste Project (WCW) brought to light an experiment in the fall of 2021, but instead of sparking interest, it was met with hostility.
Despite the potentially damaging nature of the story involving Dr. Fauci, it was largely debated and dismissed, allowing the doctor to deny any wrongdoing while receiving little scrutiny from the press.
the Washington Post did a lengthy feature where the paper did everything to excuse Fauci and focused primarily on the WCW.
That group was painted as a slanted conservative outfit with political intentions of harming Fauci’s reputation.
He was even permitted to elevate himself above criticism:
“This attack on me, which clearly has political overtones to a nonpolitical scientist, I feel, is dangerous to the entire field of science and how people try to intimidate scientists.”
Attacking Tony is synonymous with attacking science, according to the prevailing narrative. However, recent facts have undermined this narrative.
RedState has obtained new information from the WCW, including emails from a lab in Tunisia, revealing that Dr. Fauci funded the testing.
These emails were sent on the same day that Fauci was publicly denying any involvement.
Furthermore, it has been discovered that Dr. Fauci used a personal email account to discuss these matters in an attempt to evade FOIA requests, which is a violation of federal law.
The denials by Fauci and attempts to distance the NIAID from these experiments have been exposed as fraudulent.
The WCW also possesses emails from the U.S. Embassy, which were investigating the matter after it came to light, showing that the lab tried to downplay the seriousness of the experiments.
Additionally, a video clip has surfaced featuring the director of the Tunisian lab admitting that the NIH was responsible for this experiment.
“These experiments are part of a research project funded by two major international research funders. The National Institutes of Health, meaning that its American funding, through the institute that Dr. Fauci is currently managing.”
In June, we reported on the Washington Post retracting its initial coverage due to new revelations. It was discovered that crucial questions were overlooked during the initial reporting.
Further investigation by the WCW uncovered that the lab conducting the experiments was not only sponsored by the NIAID but also coordinated by them.
Additionally, efforts were made to conceal their association, including removing documents linking them to the lab and deleting previous NIAID database entries referencing the Tunisian experiments.
The lab’s grant application to the NIAID explicitly proposed conducting the controversial experiments, making it particularly incriminating. Therefore, Fauci and the NIAID’s denial of prior knowledge is a blatant falsehood, as they were aware of and approved the funding for these experiments before they were carried out.

The media’s censorship of dissenting narratives allowed this misinformation to persist unchallenged for an extended period.
Questioning the established story was deemed risky, and challenging the integrity of Dr. Fauci was seen as unacceptable.
The quest for truth and factual reporting were completely suppressed.
