AOC Squad Fund Raises Record $2.35M, Blocks Cop Donations

The Squad Victory Fund has pulled in a record haul this election cycle while drawing a sharp line on who gets to give. The committee tied to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, and Rashida Tlaib is now sitting on more than $2.35 million, and its donor rules make clear that not every politically aligned group is welcome.

That kind of money usually signals muscle, and this fund has plenty of it. Built as a joint fundraising committee, it gives the four lawmakers and their allied PACs a shared lane to collect donations and split the proceeds across their operation.

The most eye-catching part is not the size of the total, but the doors it closes. The committee says it will not accept money from the Fraternal Order of Police, the country’s largest police organization, and it also blocks cash from corporations, federal lobbyists, and fossil fuel interests.

The exclusion of the police group stands out because it is so blunt. The disclosure does not explain why the FOP was singled out, but the move fits a broader posture that has often put progressive Democrats at odds with law enforcement and other traditional power centers.

The fund’s structure also spreads the money around in a very deliberate way. Along with the four lawmakers, four allied PACs are part of the setup, and donations are generally divided evenly among the eight participants unless a donor chooses a specific destination.

That arrangement has helped the committee hit new highs. According to its federal filings, the total raised for the 2025 to 2026 cycle now stands at $2,351,388.02, the biggest number the fund has posted so far.

Spending has already started to chew through that war chest, too. Through March 31, 2026, the committee reported about $1.6 million in expenditures and just under $68,000 left in cash on hand, though those figures can move quickly because the operation is still active.

The donation rules also underline a wider campaign message. The fund says contributions are not tax-deductible, which is standard for political money but still worth noting for donors who may not be paying close attention.

Progressive fundraising often leans hard on emotion, identity, and fight energy, and this group is no different. Its name alone signals a coordinated bloc ready to keep building power together, while also making clear that some of the usual big-money pipelines are shut off at the front door.

That combination can be a political asset. A leaner donor base can sharpen the message, make the brand feel more insurgent, and turn a fundraising committee into a kind of loyalty test for supporters who want to back the squad-style politics without compromise.

At the same time, the numbers show how much money can still flow into a tightly managed operation when the brand is strong enough. Even with its restrictions, the committee has drawn enough support to set a new high mark, and that puts more attention on where the money goes next and which races or causes it is meant to fuel.
