Putin Claims Biden Offered to Delay Ukraine’s NATO Membership

Russian President Vladimir Putin made a surprising revelation Thursday during a press conference following the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting near St. Petersburg. The economic bloc, led by Russia, includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. Among the many topics discussed, Putin disclosed an intriguing detail about his past negotiations with U.S. President Joe Biden regarding Ukraine’s potential NATO membership.

Putin revealed that in 2021, during their midsummer meeting in Switzerland, President Biden proposed delaying Ukraine’s NATO membership by 10 to 15 years as a way to avoid conflict. According to Putin:

“I know that the current President Biden spoke about this, it’s no secret. He proposed exactly this to me – to delay Ukraine’s admission into NATO by 10-15 years, because [Kiev] is not ready yet.”

However, Putin dismissed the offer, emphasizing that Ukraine’s entry into NATO was unacceptable, regardless of the timeline. “Whether it’s in one year or ten years, it is not acceptable for us,” he said.

During the press conference, Putin reiterated Russia’s willingness to end the ongoing conflict in Ukraine but insisted that any resolution must align with Moscow’s military and political objectives. He also floated the idea of Slovakia as a potential neutral venue for future peace talks, highlighting the country’s neutral stance on the conflict.

“Russia is ready to use Slovakia as a venue for negotiations, as the country maintains a neutral position,” Putin said.

This suggestion followed a recent meeting between Putin and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico in Moscow. Fico, who has faced criticism from European leaders for his perceived closeness to Moscow, described the meeting as focused on Slovakia’s sovereignty and energy security.

Energy security also dominated Putin’s remarks. The Russian president pointed to Ukraine’s refusal to renew a key gas transit agreement, which he said jeopardizes the energy supply to European countries like Slovakia and Hungary.

“Just press the button and the gas will go through the Yamal-Europe pipeline. It was Poland that blocked our route,” Putin stated, referencing Europe’s increasing reliance on alternative energy sources as Russian supplies dwindle.

Both Slovakia and Hungary face significant economic challenges due to their dependence on Russian gas. Slovakia has a long-term supply contract with Gazprom, but the expiration of Ukraine’s transit deal could disrupt deliveries, leaving the country scrambling for cost-effective alternatives.

Hungary, another landlocked nation heavily reliant on Russian pipeline gas, faces similar risks. For both countries, the conflict in Ukraine has exacerbated their vulnerability, as regional tensions complicate efforts to secure stable energy supplies.

Putin’s revelation about Biden’s 2021 proposal came in response to a question about former U.S. President Donald Trump’s reported peace plan for Ukraine. Trump has suggested freezing the front lines and negotiating a resolution, an approach Putin dismissed as “nothing new.”

Instead, Putin underscored his view that resolving the conflict would require addressing Russia’s long-standing concerns, particularly about NATO’s expansion into Eastern Europe.

Putin’s firm stance against Ukraine’s NATO membership signals a significant obstacle in any future negotiations, whether under President Biden or a potential Trump administration. While Trump has indicated a willingness to broker peace, the Kremlin is likely to maintain its hardline position on NATO as a non-negotiable issue.

The Biden administration’s past proposal to delay Ukraine’s NATO entry reflects the U.S. government’s recognition of the delicate balance required to navigate tensions with Russia while supporting Ukraine. However, Putin’s rejection of the compromise underscores the depth of Moscow’s opposition to Western influence in its neighboring states.

As the conflict drags on, energy politics and security concerns continue to dominate the agenda in Europe. For countries like Slovakia and Hungary, maintaining access to affordable energy supplies remains a pressing challenge. Meanwhile, the Biden administration faces mounting pressure to manage the geopolitical fallout of its decisions while supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty.

Putin’s comments on Thursday provide a rare glimpse into the behind-the-scenes negotiations between global powers, shedding light on the complexities of the conflict. As public scrutiny grows, the world watches to see whether diplomacy can prevail—or if the impasse will deepen further.

To Obama A REAL ENDING OF ALL CONFLICT IN A PEACEFUL ALL-EUROPEAN COOPERATION WAS A POINT OF WAR!
SUCH A CREATION OF A PEACEFUL BUT POWERFUL UNION WOULD BE THE END OF US WORLD DOMINATION – AND THAT WAS ABSOLUTE ANATHEMA TO OBAMA AND THE US-MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL-COMPLEX. There is only one “DOGMA” in POST-WORLD-WAR US IMPERIALISM: that “PEACE NOT CONTROLLED BY US FORCES IS NO PEACE!”
    – Although there has been not one single day, since 1945, on which US Forces had not been shooting somewhere!

Looking at the events rationally, we have to conclude that THE UKRAINE WAR WAS STARTED TO PREVENT PEACE!
And a UNITED EUROPE -including Siberia- would be the most productive and powerful economic and political power – far above USA and China. Its position would make any “Imperial” or “Muscling Pressure and Sanction Policies” – or Blackmail with War Threats a ridiculous show of mental failure.

So, we can see WHY OBAMA HAD GONE SO FAR AS USING OLD NAZI LEFTOVERS AS HIS PROXY!
When he planned the Maidan Massacre, his emissary Ms. Nuland knew perfectly well WHAT MONSTER SHE FED: BANDERA POSTERS AND NAZI-CULT TORCHLIT PARADES APPEARED ALL OVER WESTERN UKRAINE – BUT NOT SO IN DONBASS AND KRYM (CRIMEA)! THE HEART OF THESE FASCIST GROUPS WAS IN GALICIA, LVOV – which had, before, been a part of Poland (and after Poland’s second split-up Austrian). But the first ETHNIC CLEANSING started there as soon as the GERMAN FORCES HAD “DONATED” THIS LAND (and people) TO THE NEW UKRAINE!
WWII AND GERMAN OCCUPATION AGAIN SAW THE WORST IF GENOCIDE BY UKRAINIAN SS TROOPS UNDER BANDERA – AND THEY COMMITTED POLISH MASS MURDER AND 80% OF ALL HOLOCAUST IN UKRAINE!

So, How could Obama form an ALLIANCE WITH SUCH PEOPLE? Who would ever expect that from a US President?
Well, we and Ms. Nuland -and some others like Romney and Biden- relied on the widespread ignorance in America about reality in other continents: “Nazis had only existed in Germany”. Not Ukraine or Croatia as next tops on the list, or the Baltic Republics Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania where still annual parades in Nazi uniforms are celebrated, and several others who had their own SS and concentration camps. OBAMA KNEW WHOM HE HIRED. HE NEEDED THEM

Nobody else would have done the same. Just imagine Belgium: You also have two people: 2/3 Flemish, 1/3 Wallons.
Now, if we wanted the Flemish to hate the Wallons and their French language, culture and Catholic churches – there have always been little clinches – BUT WE REALLY WANT THE FLEMISH TO GO AGAINST EVERYTHING FRENCH?
WE’D BAN THEIR LANGUAGE – THEY’D PROTEST – WE KILL THEIR PROTESTERS – AND THEY GO INDEPENDENT!
THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED IN UKRAINE! (Thank you, Obama and Nuland!)

ALL THAT IS A WAR WITHOUT OUR SOLDIERS – JUST SOME PROXY “MERCENARIES” – USING THEIR NAZISM!
BUT WILL OUR ALLIES, THE GERMANS, FRENCH, ITALIANS NO NOTICE THAT IT IS ALSO A WAR AGAINST THEM?
THEY’VE BEEN DRAGGED INTO SOMETHING TOTALLY AGAINST THEIR OWN INTEREST, MAKING THEM POORER!
BELIEVE ME: THEY WON’T COME OUT WITH GREAT LOVE FOR THIS WAR AND ITS PLANNERS!
AND “PUTIN’S WAR” IS A LIE FOR DUMBOS – ANY BRAIN CAN AND WILL SEE THAT!

IT IS TIME THAT EVERYBODY DOES!

The Russia war is running out of Oil Money to keep it going! Wars cost a lot of money! Look what we the tax payer have paid out to Ukraine! The US is going to become energy dominate again and where wil that leave Putin holding surrounding Countries dependent on him? They will have a choice again and buy American.
