According to Joe Gamaldi, national vice president of the Fraternal Order of Police, a Harris presidency would jeopardize public safety due to her vocal support for bail reform.
He highlighted Harris’ involvement in funding the release of individuals accused of serious crimes, including murderers, rapists, and violent offenders, emphasizing the negative impact of bail reform on urban communities.
Joseph Imperatrice, founder of Blue Lives Matter NYC, echoed Gamaldi’s concerns and criticized Harris for aiding in the release of individuals during riots.
Critics pointed out that this shift in policy represents a departure from her previous roles as a district attorney and attorney general.
Charles Stimson, a senior legal fellow at the Heritage Foundation, compared Harris’ rhetoric to calls for defunding the police and cautioned against politicians’ efforts to “reimagine” the criminal justice system.
He criticized Harris for applauding defunding initiatives and highlighted her support for redirecting funds away from law enforcement agencies.
Harris’ endorsement of the Minnesota Freedom Fund also drew scrutiny after reports revealed that funds were used to release individuals accused of violent crimes.
These controversies have fueled debate within law enforcement circles as Harris positions herself for a presidential run.

The public needs to be shaken up more to WAKE THE HELL UP! She is anti-American, a Marxist at heart and quite insane/fused with diabolical evil! Why else was she put on the ticket with “America’s man of perdition Biden;” not for black female votes that they brainwashed so many into thinking, which is hogwash; in the primary she came in last with the rest of the losers and gained no delegate votes! They both Xiden and Cackling Harris represent the same evil and are cut from the same cloth politically! She prostituted herself for all political self-gain and Biden did the same thing both here but more notably in foreign nations!
