Trump Presses Pam Bondi to Charge Comey, Schiff, and Letitia James and Backs Lindsey Halligan

Trump Pushes Bondi: Time for Action, Not Talk

President Donald Trump praised Pam Bondi for the “incredible job” she previously did as Florida’s attorney general when he nominated her to serve as U.S. attorney general. That praise is still on record, but the tone from the president has shifted to impatience in recent online posts. Republicans who backed the nomination want clear, fast results and no political theater.

Trump complained that “nothing is being done”

In a since deleted Truth Social post, the president wrote a pointed note directly to Bondi: “Pam: I have reviewed over 30 statements and posts saying that, essentially, same old story as last time, all talk, no action.” He made it plain that he expects prosecutions and not excuses. The message landed as a demand, not a suggestion.

“Nothing is being done. What about Comey, Adam ‘Shifty’ Schiff, Leticia??? They’re all guilty as hell, but nothing is going to be done,” Trump complained. Those names cut right to the political core of the last decade and highlight long-running Republican grievances about selective enforcement. The president’s framing is simple: if misconduct exists, move forward without fear or favor.

The post singled out former FBI Director James Comey, California Sen. Adam Schiff, and New York Attorney General Letitia James as examples of officials who, in the president’s view, need accountability. A report last month said FHFA Director William Pulte sent a letter to Bondi accusing Schiff of mortgage fraud, and that has added fuel to the calls for a prompt review. For conservatives, this is about equal application of the law and restoring confidence in the justice system.

Trump didn’t spare career prosecutors either, criticizing Erik Seibert, the former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, as “[a] Woke RINO, who was never going to do his job.” He followed that with a forceful defense of his own actions: “He even lied to the media and said he quit, and that we had no case. No, I fired him, and there is a GREAT CASE, and many la[w]yers, and legal pundits, say so,” the president insisted. The court of public opinion is loud on this point, and Republicans want the legal work to back it up.

Second Truth Social post carried a more upbeat tone

Within hours, Trump posted a second statement that struck a more supportive chord for Bondi personally: “Pam Bondi is doing a GREAT job as Attorney General of the United States,” the president stated. He tempered his criticism with praise and made a concrete recommendation for the Eastern District of Virginia, arguing for a prosecutor aligned with the administration’s urgency. That balance lets supporters say they back strong leadership while pushing for immediate action.

“What we don’t need is a Democrat Endorsed ‘Republican,'” Trump asserted before adding that Bondi “will be Fair, Smart, and will provide, desperately needed, JUSTICE FOR ALL!” The capitalization and emphasis in his words send a clear signal that this is about more than politics for many conservatives. It’s framed as restoring fairness and making sure investigations aren’t one-sided.

When reporters asked whether he was angry with his attorney general, Trump was blunt: “No. I just want people to act. They have to act. But now we want to act fast.” He then reviewed his own grievances in plain terms: “You know, they were ruthless and vicious. I was impeached twice. I was indicted five times. It turned out to be a fake deal. And we have to act fast one way or the other. One way or the other. They’re guilty. They’re not guilty. We have to act fast,” he stressed. Those words reinforce the demand for speed and clarity from the Republican perspective.

“If they’re not guilty, that’s fine. If they are guilty or if they should be judged, they should be charged. And we have to do it now,” the president added. That line is the through-line for the party’s stance: swift investigation, clear outcomes, and equal treatment before the law. Republicans see this as both a matter of justice and political necessity.

From a GOP vantage point, Pam Bondi’s track record as Florida’s attorney general gives her credibility, but credibility without results won’t quiet critics. The administration’s allies believe the DOJ can be both careful and decisive, delivering prosecutions where merited and letting the innocent go free without delay. This is about restoring trust in institutions that many conservatives think have been weaponized against them.

The politics are raw: repeated indictments and investigations into top Republicans created a deep desire among the base for accountability when the shoe is on the other foot. Conservatives argue that failing to pursue clear leads would reinforce a narrative of double standards and selective justice. In that sense, the pressure on Bondi is as much about politics as it is about law.

Ultimately, Republicans want a simple outcome: the Department of Justice should move with speed where there is probable cause, and it should publicly show that justice is blind to party labels. Pam Bondi has the chance to deliver that proof and to quiet critics by producing thorough, transparent cases. For now, the message from the right is clear — enough talk, start acting, and let the legal process run its course.

It’s about DAMNED TIME that this becomes a GENUINE TURNING POINT IN AMERICA and bad actors or these traitors end up in the SLAMMER FOR LIFE without any hope of parole so they can die behind bars thinking and being haunted about what they have done to our America and its Citizens!!!
Pam Bondi I have lost my enthusiasm for because this takes guts, balls and absolute conviction to get the job done!!! So far I hear crickets and will she live up to her oath of office; time will tell but there is no more time for BS or milquetoast wishy-washy government officials and time to do or die! In other words get the damned job done NOW or get out of the way and let someone else take the reins of Judicial Law Enforcement Authority and start taking these Criminals down to their ankles! No “no ifs, ands, or buts”!

Regarding this here article stating how President Trump’s telling Pam Bondi to go after Comey, Adam ‘Shifty’ Schiff, Leticia James; hell yea of course; and I say that is only the tip of the Criminal Network in the DEEP STATE that MUST be crushed!!!

I had this to say to Ted Cruz on another WinRed Fundraising Junket request I got in my email today!
    >MY REGARD OF TED CRUZ FUND RAISING AND THE HORRIBLE CONDITION OF OUR COUNTRY DUE TO CONGRESS!
As you stated and I quote: “But I’m concerned. It feels to me that voters will sit on the sidelines.”
I’m concerned sir that all of Congress has sat on the sidelines for many years with some occasional political rhetoric to make it look good, but all Congress has allowed our nation to sink into a quagmire of deceit, deception and lies to play the public, as they all allow a devious and nefarious consolidation of POWER in order to TOTALLY CONTROL!<

We're either at a Turning Point or a Dead End; and it's up to this administration to decide once and for all which it is!!!
