The House Oversight Committee led by the GOP convened a meeting on Thursday evening to consider holding US Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt for his refusal to provide the audio of President Biden’s interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur.
The meeting descended into disorder when Democratic Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Marjorie Taylor Greene engaged in a heated exchange.
AOC attempted to have MTG’s comments expunged after she criticized Jasmine Crockett’s artificial eyelashes.

MTG taunted AOC: “Are your feelings hurt?”
AOC shouted back at MTG: “Oh, girl! Baby girl! Don’t even play! We are gonna take your words down!”

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s refusal to apologize only served to exacerbate AOC’s reaction, while House Oversight Chairman James Comer attempted to regain control of the situation.
“I’m not apologizing. Why don’t you debate me!” MTG shouted.
“I think it’s pretty self-evident!” AOC shouted.
MTG blasted AOC: “Yeah, you don’t have enough intelligence!”
