Rand Paul Slams NIH for Taxpayer-Funded Cat Experiments in Festivus Report

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) has once again turned his annual Festivus Report into a platform for exposing egregious government waste, and this year’s revelations are nothing short of horrifying. Paul’s scathing report shines a spotlight on taxpayer dollars funding gruesome experiments on cats, orchestrated by Anthony Fauci’s National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Department of Defense (DOD).

The shocking details outline barbaric experiments involving electroshock therapy, brain mutilation, and forced vomiting, leaving Americans questioning the morality and necessity of such projects.

According to Paul’s report, $1.5 million has been funneled into experiments conducted at the University of Pittsburgh since 2019. These tests, purportedly aimed at studying motion sickness, subject young kittens—some as young as four months old—to horrific procedures, including:

  • Electroshock therapy causing uncontrollable vomiting.
  • Spinning on hydraulic tables designed to induce severe motion sickness.
  • Brain mutilation, where holes are drilled into kittens’ skulls, rendering them cognitively impaired.

Paul’s report describes these experiments as “medieval,” stating that the kittens endure weeks of restraint training before being subjected to relentless spinning, flashing lights, and injections of copper sulfate to force vomiting.

“These kittens, tied down for hours, are transformed into unresponsive shells after decerebration,” the report states, referring to the removal or severing of brain parts.

In one particularly gruesome method, researchers decerebrate the kittens—leaving them alive but devoid of cognitive function—to prevent resistance during their experiments. Once incapacitated, the kittens are subjected to even more spinning and electroshocking as part of a study to understand motion sickness.

While researchers claim this work has potential implications for treating vertigo and studying the effects of space travel on humans, critics argue that the scientific merit of such projects is dubious at best.

The Department of Defense’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) doesn’t escape scrutiny in Paul’s report. Nearly $11 million was spent on additional experiments involving cats at the University of Pittsburgh, including:

  • Electroshock experiments for erectile dysfunction, where electrodes were inserted into cats’ spinal cords to induce erections, followed by spinal cord severance to study paralysis.
  • Constipation research, involving “condom balloons” and marbles inserted into cats’ rectums to force defecation through electric shocks.

The report highlights one harrowing incident where a cat endured 11 minutes of continuous shocks to expel four marbles. Paul sarcastically remarked that such procedures are hardly justifiable under the guise of “national defense.”

Paul’s Festivus Report serves as a grim reminder of what happens when government spending lacks oversight. The nearly $11 million spent on these projects defies common sense, leaving Americans furious over the misuse of their hard-earned money.

The White Coat Waste Project, a nonprofit organization that tracks government-funded animal experiments, first brought attention to these practices. The group has called for an end to taxpayer-funded animal torture, arguing that such experiments are both unethical and scientifically unnecessary.

Senator Paul isn’t just airing grievances—he’s demanding accountability. In his report, he directly calls out Fauci’s NIH and the DOD for their roles in perpetuating these experiments.

“If you learned that your money is being used to electroshock young kittens, torturing them for hours on end until they vomit, would you believe it?” the report asks, challenging Americans to confront the reality of where their tax dollars are going.

Paul also criticized the lack of transparency surrounding these projects, urging Congress to take immediate action to end such wasteful and inhumane practices.

As news of these experiments spreads, public outrage continues to grow. Animal rights advocates and taxpayers alike are demanding change, questioning the ethics of using defenseless animals in such brutal ways.

Even supporters of medical research find these revelations hard to stomach, with many arguing that the scientific value of these experiments does not justify the cruelty involved.

The Festivus Report is a stark reminder of the need for greater accountability in government spending. While Rand Paul’s annual airing of grievances may be rooted in humor, the issues he highlights are deadly serious.

This year’s findings underscore the urgent need to reevaluate how federal agencies allocate taxpayer dollars, ensuring that ethical standards are upheld and wasteful practices are eliminated.

For now, the spotlight remains firmly fixed on Fauci’s NIH and DARPA, as Americans demand answers—and change

Fauci is NOTHING less than a modern day Josef Mengele (angel of death) the Nazi War Criminal Madman that experimented on animals and humans who was absolutely involved in Genocide and Crimes Against Humanity! This evil bastard is walking around free with the Millions $ he made selling out America and its Citizens as well as the human race! He should be tried and executed as per the US Constitution, and ICC Nuremberg Code of International Crimes!

Rand Paul and the rest of the Congressional members better go after these monsters with actions that have real teeth to take them down ASAP or they are just as guilty as the perpetrators!

God indeed has the final say in everything and there will be no escaping the eternal punishment due!
