Elise Stefanik, the Chairwoman of the House Republican Conference, and Representative Nick Langworthy have teamed up to introduce a new piece of legislation aimed at tackling the issue of illegal immigration in the United States. The bill, known as the Safeguarding America from Extremist Risks (SAFER) at the Border Act, seeks to address the flaws in current immigration policies, particularly those influenced by New York Governor Kathy Hochul’s sanctuary state approach. Stefanik has expressed her concerns that such policies have endangered New Yorkers by prioritizing illegal immigrants over citizens.

Stefanik did not mince words when she criticized Governor Hochul’s support for President Joe Biden’s immigration agenda. “The Worst Governor in America Kathy Hochul embraced and fully supported Joe Biden’s catastrophic open border policies,” Stefanik stated. She emphasized the need to prioritize the safety and security of New Yorkers by closing loopholes that have been exploited under the current administration.

Langworthy echoed Stefanik’s sentiments, highlighting the negative impact of the Biden administration’s open-border policies on his constituents. He stressed the importance of securing the nation’s borders to prevent dangerous individuals from entering. Langworthy noted the dissatisfaction among his constituents who have witnessed an increase in crime due to these policies.

The SAFER at the Border Act proposes several measures to enhance national security. It aims to block parole for high-risk aliens, such as known terrorists and members of transnational criminal organizations. By doing so, the bill seeks to prevent individuals flagged in federal threat databases from exploiting immigration loopholes.

Additionally, the legislation addresses refugee parole loopholes that have allowed individuals to bypass the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program. This measure is designed to ensure that only those who meet the necessary criteria for refugee status are admitted into the country. By closing these loopholes, the bill aims to protect the integrity of the nation’s immigration system.

Moreover, the act focuses on protecting national security by banning entry to individuals linked to terrorism, espionage, or foreign criminal syndicates. Stefanik and Langworthy believe that these steps are crucial to safeguarding American citizens and maintaining the sovereignty of the nation. They argue that without secure borders, the nation is at risk of decline.

New York has been a focal point for border-related national security threats, with an increase in foreign criminal activity. In March 2024, a Hezbollah-trained foreign national was apprehended after crossing the U.S. border illegally. This individual reportedly intended to build a bomb, highlighting the serious security threats posed by lax immigration policies.

The Swanton Sector, which includes parts of New York’s 21st Congressional District, has seen a surge in border encounters. This includes the apprehension of individuals listed on the U.S. terrorist watchlist, underscoring the need for stricter border control measures. Stefanik and Langworthy argue that their legislation is a necessary step towards addressing these security concerns.

Langworthy had previously sponsored the SAFER at the Border Act in August 2024. This was the House version of a Senate bill introduced by Senator Steve Daines in July 2024. With the current GOP majorities in Congress, there is renewed hope for the bill’s passage.

The political climate, influenced by former President Trump’s immigration enforcement agenda, provides a favorable backdrop for the SAFER at the Border Act. The bill has gained significant attention and support from conservatives who view it as a crucial measure for national security. Stefanik and Langworthy are optimistic about its potential impact.

The proposed legislation reflects a broader conservative push for stricter immigration controls. It emphasizes the importance of prioritizing the safety and security of American citizens. By addressing the flaws in current policies, Stefanik and Langworthy aim to restore order and stability to the nation’s immigration system.

The SAFER at the Border Act has the potential to reshape the nation’s approach to immigration. While it faces opposition from those who support more lenient policies, its proponents are determined to see it through. They argue that it is a necessary step to protect the nation’s borders and its people.

As the bill progresses through Congress, it will continue to be a topic of debate and discussion. Its supporters remain hopeful that it will pave the way for more secure borders and a safer America. The outcome of this legislative effort will have significant implications for the future of immigration policy in the United States.

Hochul does not have the interest of Americans at heart. She follows her globalist demons orders like a good slave. Make no mistake this evil woman sold her soul to the highest bidder for shekels way back.
