Judge in Fulton County’s Trump Case Donated to Fani Willis

by Chelsea Betonie

Financial disclosures reveal that Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee, overseeing the Trump election interference case, made a $150 donation to county prosecutor Fani Willis in June 2020 during his tenure at the Justice Department.

“The donation itself is more or less a token amount and was made prior to his becoming a judge,” legal analyst Philip Holloway told the Daily Caller. “But failure to disclose to the defendants a political donation to the prosecutor can be seen as a present appearance of a conflict of interest. Judges are required to avoid even the appearance of a conflict of interest.”

Gov. Brian Kemp (R), who declined to initiate a criminal investigation into Willis, selected McAfee for the judicial position, and she was officially sworn in on February 1, 2023.

According to the New York Times, McAfee had previously served under Willis at the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office before her successful election in 2020.

Willis took over from a long-serving corrupt county prosecutor and assumed office on January 1, 2021.

Her campaign in 2020 focused on avoiding sexual misconduct, a key issue faced by her predecessor.

Ironically, allegations of an affair and financial impropriety emerged during her tenure.

In 2023, former President Donald Trump and co-defendant Mike Roman accused Willis of having an inappropriate romantic relationship with Nathan Wade, the lead prosecutor in the Trump case.

Wade claimed their relationship began in 2022 after Willis initiated proceedings against Trump in 2021.

However, a former colleague of Willis contradicted this timeline, stating that she knew about the relationship since 2019.

If McAfee finds evidence of a conflict of interest between Willis and Wade, she could be removed from the case – potentially giving Trump a significant advantage in the Georgia election interference investigation.

We keep getting more and more shady news about these biased liberals. I guess we will have to see just how Judge McAfee handles the Willis/Trump case to see if he is as corrupt as Willis and Wade! I pray that the USA can survive the corruption that is being forced on us by these Democrats who think they are above the law!

Once again, if this becomes common knowledge, it is very bad news for Trump. The corrupt judiciary will circle the wagons around the “judge” and the corrupt DOJ will clear Willis of any and all wrong doing BECAUSE it was wrong doing. That is the only way that the tyrants and abusers can go. Denial of Justice will be reinforced with even greater denial of Justice. Mind you, I am not so stupid as to think that Civil law has anything to do with JUSTICE. It is about order. Always has been. The difference in the last 2 decades is that it is now the IMPOSITION of a Marxist Order.
