The rumor mill has been buzzing around the 2024 presidential election for some time now and one of the latest stories doing the rounds is that U.S. Housing Secretary Ben Carson might be President Donald Trump’s vice president choice. According to a source familiar with Trump’s thinking, Carson is currently the frontrunner for this role.
Carson has been part of Trump’s cabinet since 2017 when he was appointed Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, serving until 2021 when he stepped down from his position citing personal reasons.
In his role as HUD secretary, Carson made an impact in terms of housing reform and homeless assistance programs, among other things. He also focused on promoting affordable housing opportunities for low-income citizens across America.
During his tenure at HUD, Carson also developed strong relationships with many different stakeholders in government and business industries which could prove beneficial to him should he become Vice President in 2024.
This includes extensive ties with members of Congress who would likely support him if he were tapped by Trump as running mate in four years.
Additionally, his views on fiscal conservatism have earned him favor among Republicans looking to promote budget restraint while still providing essential services – something that will no doubt come into play during any election campaign in 2024 should Carson be chosen by the President to run alongside him on a ticket.
One thing that could put a wrench in the works for Carson’s potential Vice Presidential bid is his past association with controversial figures such as former national security advisor Michael Flynn and disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff – both associates of Trump at various points during his presidency who have been linked to criminal activities relating to foreign governments or businesses they had dealings with (Flynn) or fraud charges (Abramoff).
That being said, these are only rumors and there is no evidence linking either man directly to any wrongdoing involving Carson himself so it remains unclear whether this will affect his chances at becoming VP next year or not.
In October, Carson made his support for the former president official by giving him his endorsement.
“Our nation is in desperate need of strong leadership. A President who fights for the American people, our freedoms, our safety, and our future. Donald J. Trump is that leader, and I am proud to give him my full endorsement for President of the United States today. Join me in this fight to Make America Great Again!” he said.
Trump is currently leading the 2024 GOP presidential field by quite a bit, according to the polls, but he still is a long way from officially snagging the party’s nomination.

Several other names of potential running mates have surfaced as well.
In August, for instance, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) was said to be contemplating whether to become Trump’s 2024 running mate or make a bid for the U.S. Senate in 2026.
The outlet also said she has yet to decide whether to run against Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-Ga.) or perhaps take a Cabinet position within a new Trump administration.
She said it would be “an honor” to be Trump’s veep choice, adding she’d consider being his running mate “very, very heavily.”
“I haven’t made up my mind whether I will do that or not,” Greene said, according to the paper. “I have a lot of things to think about. Am I going to be a part of President Trump’s Cabinet if he wins? Is it possible that I’ll be VP?”

I’d vote for Ben over Donald. Donald is a Zionist Puppet and Ben is probably ignorant of the demonic fake Semites but hopefully not one of their puppets
Stevor – The only thing I can be sure of from reading your comment is that you are a disciple of the Main Stream Media and believe anything they say. I would have to refer to you as a koolaid puppet. Either that or you are a fascist drone.
dan bogino would be a much better choice. like trump, he hates the dems and crooks that are in the w.h. plus he has a lot of political clout with people. and add to that, he gets people to listen.
Carson would make a wonderful VP. He’s brilliant, honest, courageous and Black. He’d be one of my top choices.
Kristi Noem, Kari Lake, Ben Carson and Dan Bongino.
There’s the short list in no particular order.
Kristi Noem – Knowledgeable in terms of politics and business.
Kari Lake – A very capable and persuasive speaker.
Ben Carson – Not a nicer person in the world.
Dan Bongino – Knows figuratively where the bodies are buried.
Ben Carson would suit me just fine! Also, Kristi Noem or Tim Scott. Kari Lake would be OK, too. I don’t know enough about Dan Bongino to have an opinion.
